In this commentary, the speaker argues that former President Donald Trump is deliberately engineering a boom in the altcoin market. He claims that a substantial portion of Trump’s personal wealth is invested in cryptocurrencies and that his economic agenda—high import tariffs on Canada, China, and Mexico; leveraging the United States’ position as the world’s largest consumer market; and exploiting the Japanese yen carry‑trade—creates strong incentives for foreign businesses to relocate to the U.S. and for global capital to flow into U.S. assets. The speaker further asserts that Trump is pressuring Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell to cut interest rates, which would lower borrowing costs, increase domestic demand, and amplify the inflow of capital. This confluence of policy actions, the speaker contends, fuels demand for crypto assets and sets the stage for an “altcoin season.” The narrative is presented in a persuasive, confident tone, emphasizing the strategic alignment of tariffs, consumer spending, and monetary policy with crypto market growth.

Trump is essentially trying to manufacture altcoin season right before our eyes. We know that 20% to 40% of his recent wealth, which is billions of dollars, is tied to cryptocurrency investments, and he's doing everything he can to bolster or pump the United States economy, including everything in the stock market and everything in crypto. And this proves it right here. So here's a list of all the tariffs that are currently being implemented right now. And as you can see, it's anywhere from like, what, 30% to 50%? The biggest ones being Canada, China, and Mexico. Which are the biggest importers into America, they're getting hit with a massive fee. That means all of these businesses now have a 30% incentive to move their business to the United States. This is important to understand. Combine that with the fact that America spends the most money out of any country on the face of the planet. As you can see right here in 2023, they led the world in consumer spending at $18.8 trillion. And it's literally twice as much As the second runner-up, China. That means that all these businesses in the world, most of their demand, most of the people that buy for them is coming from America. And then we have something called the yen carry trade, where basically people in Japan are devaluing their own currency to zero or negative interest rates, meaning it's literally free to borrow money or it's you get paid to borrow money. That's how crazy it is to buy United States debt and get a yield on it. So imagine a country is literally devaluing their currency into oblivion just to take that money and put it into the United States. To get a guaranteed yield. We see that happening right now before our face. So just think about it. Trump is trying to strong-arm the Federal Reserve. He's doing everything in his power to basically force Jerome Powell to drop interest rates. Meanwhile, America spends the most money. So if we got a dropping interest rate, it's cheaper to borrow money. It's cheaper to get capital in America where people spend the most money. And at the same time, we have companies on the other side of the world that have now a 30% tax to sell to America, right? The chances of them moving over are really high. Why? Because Trump is getting the Federal Reserve to drop interest rates, more demand, more buying, and the greatest buying country in the world. And now I have a 30% fee. I'm gonna move my company to America while Trump gets them to cut interest rates. And at the same time, they cut interest rates, it's going to force other countries to cut their interest rates even lower because they're the biggest purchasers of US debt in the first place. Literally Japan and all these places, they buy more US debt than the vast majority of the companies in America because of this carry trade. So we see Trump trying to literally get infrastructure and money into America as aggressively as he possibly can from pretty much every perspective. This is really good for altcoins and crypto.
