It contains a monologue by a single speaker (SPEAKER A) describing the New York Stock Exchange parent company's $600M investment in Polymarket, a Polygon-based prediction market. The speaker argues this move shows crypto is maturing and being adopted by traditional finance, compares scams in emerging technologies (including AI) to early crypto issues, and emphasizes that ordinary investors with stocks or 401(k)s are affected.

The New York Stock Exchange. This affects you directly because you probably have a 401 with stocks in it, or you actively accumulate stocks. The New York Stock Exchange parent company, so a company that owns the New York Stock Exchange, just invested $600 million into Polymarket, a prediction market based on Polygon in crypto right now. So if we have the New York Stock Exchange that settles all of these stock trades that kind of competes a little bit with what crypto does, Literally investing their own money into Polymarket, which is a prediction market. You could pretty much predict anything. It's like sports betting, but for any event in reality, elections, different things. If they're putting up $600 million, what the heck are you doing? They've been out for a long time making billions and billions of dollars. You must understand that crypto is not a scam like you think in your head. I know there's a lot of scams in new emerging markets in general. When there's a new emerging market, you know, people take advantage of it because there's no regulation. Because it's truly innovative. Look at AI. All the new AIs got taken advantage of. People in China replicated it, make their own AI models, and started using it for hacking. We saw that with North Korea and everything. We saw the attack on Claude. They used literally agentic AI models to attack Claude and tried to hack it. So every new thing has its scam, but we're graduating now. Crypto is graduating. Can't even say graduating. It's more like it's taking over. It's more like it graduated, started a business, and then the business dominated all the other competition. That's Basically what's happening in the— and then the competition is conceding and using their technology. They're like, yo, look, you got it. Let's use your technology because you're just going to clearly mollywop my entire business model. That's what's happening right now, right in front of your face. And all of you are affected because all of you own stocks.
