This founder has 60 seconds to pitch their business. Watch to the end to see how much I would invest.
Hi, I'm Natali. I'm the co-founder and CEO of Transcendence Coffee. Transcendence is a brand that creates all-natural, globally inspired flavored syrups made with real whole spices. So most coffee shop syrups are extremely artificial and chemical tasting or just lack flavor optionality. The alternative is for baristas to hand-make small batches of syrup every morning, which is inconsistent, costly, and just hard to scale across multiple locations. I experienced this firsthand because my co-founder and I actually met back in college working at a campus coffee shop as baristas. We noticed that the flavored syrups market was $60 billion and we wanted to capture the specialty sector with unique flavors like Indian gulab jamun and Algerian baklava. With $10K in 2022, we bootstrapped and launched Transcendence to make shelf-stable and distributable syrups that are flavored with single-origin spices. No extracts, no preservatives or artificial ingredients. We actually even handmade the first couple thousand bottles in a commercial kitchen and fulfilled out of my apartment. Last year we were a 6-figure brand and now we're on track to 3x our company by partnering with a barista distributor and growing our cafe partnerships.
