Undead hires actors who look like the deceased to perform as them during funerals, turning sad services into celebrations of life. The founder got the idea after his grandfather died in a fire and he mistook someone else for him 45 minutes later. Finding older actors who match the deceased is hard, but there are plenty of actors looking for work.

What's the name of your business? Undead. What is your business in one sentence? We put the life into funerals. What is the problem that you're solving? Funerals aren't fun. Everybody wants a celebration of life, but it's hard to celebrate life when your relative is dead. So we put the life back into funerals. What is your specific solution to the problem? We will hire an actor that looks like your dead relative, friend, or pet, and for the duration of your funeral, they will act as the deceased person in question. How'd you come up with the idea for the business? My grandfather died horrifically in a fire. What is the best oh shit moment you had building the business? I thought my grandfather was alive for a beautiful 45 minutes. And what's the craziest story you have from building the business? It's hard to find older actors that are available that look like older people that are dead, but sometimes we get really lucky and a young person dies. We're able to find an actor for that.
