How to Successfully Retain Staff When Selling a Property

When properties sell, new buyers typically keep existing staff who want to stay. The speaker's experience shows almost every sale resulted in full retention of senior management and minimal forced layoffs, preserving continuity through the transition.

But that part is relatively easy. When you sell a property, oftentimes, the new buyer will want to keep the staff. And we were successful in that in almost every case on properties that we sold is the new buyers kept a lot of the staff in place, at least those who wanted to stay. And so, we didn't have to reduce or make forced reductions really at all. And then on the operational, on the senior management side, we've been able to retain all of our team.
