What's up, everybody? Welcome back to another episode of the Decision Makers Show. My goal for this show is is to help you become more empowered in the decisions that you're making in your life and in your business through sharing some stories of things that I've experienced either through my own journey growing a multiple seven figure business, or through stories from the clients that I've coached through the process to have the same end result. Something I want to talk about today that I'm super excited about. I just got home from attending a mastermind with Russell Brunson at ClickFunnels headquarters, which I've never gotten to go to before. So it was really cool to see where all of the magic happens where everybody's, they're working on click funnels. And I've seen so much of the office through, you know, friends and people's stories that I admire. And getting to spend time there was like, it was like coming home for me because that, that software is like my community, they're my people. They've helped me get to this point that I am in my business. I would not be nearly as successful as I am now if I had not discovered the click funnel software. So just a little plug for them. After getting to spend some time, you know, just being there in their community and their office and their headquarters, it was absolutely amazing. But in that time that I got to hang out at the ClickFunnels headquarters, there was a mastermind for two days full of other seven and eight figure entrepreneurs and everybody got a chance to get up on stage and present a hot seat. But the way they did this hot seat was really cool in that people got up in part of what they were asked to give was not just asking a question about what they need in their business and but instead giving a 20 minute give so they stood up on stage and they thought through like, what is the most valuable thing that I'm doing in my business right now? And what can I share with this room of other people that you know, already have their businesses together, they're already successful. So what is the one secret that you have that could make people who are already successful even more successful? So it was kind of a. It was a lot of pressure, right, for, for me to come up with an ask that I give that I thought would be valuable for that room. But also the level and the quality of what was presented in, in those two days was absolutely mind blowing. So what I want to share today are a few different examples of things that I learned from having a seat at the table, sitting right next to Russell Brunson, and hearing everyone else talk about their amazing businesses and all sorts of different industries. So the first thing that I really took away from those two days, that it's a quote that I've heard before, but it really hit home this time. The quote is that you can't read the label from inside of the bottle. So how often do we get stuck in our own heads and we think through things and we try to. I mean, I know I will over intellectual almost everything in my business, and I will think forward and I'll think backwards and I'll try to, you know, come up with all those solutions and I'll try to do it in a vacuum without anyone to answer questions or without, you know, asking my clients or my students what they think about the question that I'm asking. I get so bottled up and so stuck in my own thoughts that if I just go outside of myself, the answers are right there. So spending two days with all of these high achievers and these amazing business owners, all my questions were answered. And somebody said that quote up on stage of like, you can't read the label from inside the bottle and reminded me to not, not always be a lone wolf. You know, sometimes I think I have to do it on my own. I've been copied a lot. I've got competitors who are trying to steal my stuff. So I feel like I have to be very quiet about what I'm doing or, you know, I risk other people taking what I have, but they're never going to be able to take what I have. They're never going to know what I'm doing next. I'm going to be five moves ahead of any competitor. So why not open up and be more generous with my questions? And I say generous because when I Bottle things up too much. And I. I don't provide value for other people. And I. I'm afraid to ask questions or I'm afraid to be judged or look like I'm not successful. I don't have it all figured out. That's just closing me off from being able to give in all sorts of other ways and give generously my ideas. But also it shuts me down from being able to receive from other people, too. In 2022, my word of the year. You know how everybody, like, picks a word of the year? Mine was receive. Because I'm. I'm typically very bad at receiving compliments. You know, I brush them off. I'm bad at receiving celebrations and celebrating myself. So this was just a reminder of that, like getting myself in the right rooms and, and being around the right people who can help me read the label and they can see my blind spots, and they can see where I'm stuck much more easily than I can. So instead of just cycling on the same ideas, which, you know, let me know if you've ever done that, I think it's something so common for visionaries. You know, you can look back six months or a year and realize I was asking myself the same questions then, or I was cycling on some of the same patterns then. The faster you can get feedback or join a mastermind or get a coach or find a community that can help you answer some of those questions. It's going to help you get out from inside of the bottle and be able to see things for what they really are. The second thing that always stands out to me, after seeing other people's business models and having people stand up on the stage and be like, oh, I'm only making $3 million a month, and I'm like, oh, my gosh. Wow, that's amazing. But success leaves clues. So if you are looking at different business owners, you start identifying patterns and not to copy them. Like I said in the last point, like, we don't copy other people. We don't. We don't want to model or funnel hack too closely, but you can notice patterns of what other people are doing that helps make them successful. So I noticed early on, like, successful people were taking care of their bodies. They were exercising, they were eating healthy, they weren't drinking alcohol, they were getting up early, they were reading, they were journaling. They were spiritually very healthy. So I started doing some of those things in my own life. I started getting up early. I'm not naturally a morning person. Trust me. I used to avoid Taking any classes before 10am When I was in college, probably because I was out, you know, partying it up until 2am the night before. But I learned that these little habits that you can stack ultimately lead to a lot more success. Because when I'm exercising, I have better ideas. When I'm not drinking wine at night, I wake up earlier and I can journal and I can work through some of those ideas even faster. So all of these little things start compounding and I feel more confident and I'm showing up on video more and I'm making hiring decisions and I'm, you know, sending out uncomfortable emails to people to, you know, help me reach the next level of visibility or get on a podcast or be a guest expert for somebody. You make more decisions about stepping out of your comfort zone when you have all these other patterns in place. So when you watch other high achievers, their success is going to leave clues for you and not just about their personal lives or how they're behaving, you know, what their personal development actually looks like, but when it comes to business, too. Something I noticed about a lot of people in that room was how much they're bringing their team in to help and how much they're stepping out of even the coaching inside of their group programs and inside of their other stuff. They're hiring or they're training their students, become such experts that they're able to step back from their own coaching and actually build this empire around them that allows them to grow faster and make more content and show up in different ways than if they're too busy working in their own businesses. They get to step back a little bit and just be the visionary and do what we do best as visionaries and be able to have the ideas instead of spinning around and just the, you know, the ideation of them. We can hire people on our teams who have learned from us, know our systems, and I'm actually going to be launching a certification program later this year that I'm super excited about so that I can really, you know, help create a ripple effect of impact for what I've learned over the last three years by training other strategists to do the things that I've learned how to do. So if you're interested in that, send me a dm, of course. But that's something that I really became clear for me at this mastermind is how much success leaves clues and to stop working so hard to try to come up with everything original and to launch programs or coach in industries that have no Competition, that's actually a bad thing. I want you to launch in, in niches that have a lot of competition, and then you create a niche that is. I heard someone say this, Pedro Adeo said this the other day. Create a niche that is so small that you're the only one in it. So you start building a business based on your personal brand, and then competition is going to be irrelevant. And I'd love to talk more about that when I have more time, but that's the goal of, like, stop making it so hard on yourself. The other thing, another point to this making, not making it so hard on yourself, is that simplicity scales. So. So when you market to people that already have money and you're not trying to have seven different programs at the same time. I recently looked through all of the different things that we were selling inside of my business, and instead of a value ladder, we actually had a value maze. So something I'm really working on is simplifying and how can I put more content into one thing, like a membership? Like, how can I have a membership that has coaching and all of the tiny offers that I've created and all of the different pieces of workshops, and I'm creating content all the time. So how do I work smarter instead of harder? And repurpose some of that learning content into a reoccurring model that is going to help house that in one place without me feeling like I'm scattered in all over the place. And then also having one really clear next step on the journey for people, because as the expert, I know exactly what people need next instead of guessing. So if I throw all of the offers I have out to people on a sales call, they're like, well, gosh, like, this sounds good and this sounds good, and I want all of them. And then they don't make a decision. A confused buyer, Buyer never buys. So the more I can be the expert and show up and tell them like, no, actually this is what you need next, it's going to help build trust. It's going to help them feel safe as the buyer, and it's going to make it a lot easier for us to continue building up that person so that our offers in the future keep making sense for them. If we confuse them and they go away and they go hire someone else who's not as good as I am, it's going to be a lot harder process. Right? So the next piece of that is hiring a team that believes in the movement as much as you do. So how can you find people they want to support the business because they believe in the movement, not because they believe in you, not because they like you, but because they feel it too. They can look at what you're creating in the vision of everything that you're creating, and they want it. And they want to support you in that. They want to create the ripple effects that we've talked about before and all of the impact that you're making inside of your business. They want to stand behind that and the more you can support your people on your team to stand behind you. And if you haven't hired yet, this is a great thing to keep in mind for when you are hiring. Make sure that you're hiring people who, who are there because they believe in you, because they believe in the movement, they believe in the students and the results that they can accomplish through working with you. And if just really quick, if you like this type of content, make sure you subscribe. Make sure that you send me a dm, leave me a comment like, let me know what you like, let me know what questions you have that really inspires me to keep creating this kind of content. So make sure you, you like, follow, subscribe, whatever it is on the platform you're listening to. Make sure that I stay inspired. Because consistency is huge, right? And the more ideas I get, the more visible I can be and the more free content I can keep bringing you. So make sure you subscrib, subscribe and send me a comment if you have any questions, of course. Or if you want me to do a specific topic or share a specific topic, coach on a specific topic, just let me know. Send me an Instagram dm, whatever. If you are listening and you're like, man, I need some strategy in my life or I need to know what the secret sauce is to be able to start removing your time from your coaching and be able to make money that's not directly correlated to how many hours you're working. Fill out an application and see if there's something that we could support you with. If you go to alibork.com forward/book, you can book a call and fill out an application and see, see what we might have that could help you. Even if you've heard other videos and you're like, oh, I can't afford whatever she's talking about, I guarantee you we have something that can help you get started now so you can stop spinning your wheels and doing some of the cycling on ideas that I talked about at the beginning of the video. Again, guilty of that too. But the Faster you can get yourself out of your own bottle, the better. So make sure you, you fill out an application, book a call with our team. We'd love to support, support you in any way to get you to that next level. All right, the next quote that someone said at the event that I absolutely loved was when you sell to people or when you have people start buying faster, which of course, for me, tiny offers, like, my entire email list is buyers, right? Because of the way I've set it up, I don't have any non buyers on my email list. So this person said, you want to make sure that you separate the serious from the curious. And I was like, oh, that's so good. Because when you think about how a lot of us market, we have freebies and we have, you know, free challenges and we have all this free stuff that we're just giving away. And then we grow email lists of people who are curious. And then when we go to launch something, we're like, yes, I have this many people on my email list. It's going to work, it's going to be successful. But we never went through that step to remove the curious from the serious. So then our numbers are thrown off on our launch plans and we have all these dabblers and drifters and people that aren't really interested in what we have to sell. So the sooner you can get paying customers on your email list, hello, tiny offers. Like, that's my jam, right? As soon as you can start building an email list full of buyers and you separate the serious from the curious, the better and the easier it's going to be to grow your business. So I loved that quote and it made so much sense for the way I teach things in the business too. The next thing that I talked about in my give, so I'm a little biased, but I thought this was important. I want to make sure that you are doing everything that you can early on. I mean, whether or not, if you're listening, like, I don't have any millis or I don't have buyers, I don't have a team, you can start doing this tip no matter what level you're at. So if you start thinking about how you can really talk to your ideal buyers, like what you can do to send them messages on Instagram, not to sell them, but just to get to know them, start listening and identifying the patterns. What are their innermost thoughts and what are they thinking and what things are they doing over and over again that you start seeing the more you talk to people? So you can do some things like this hands on. Like the High touch version is definitely in your Instagram messages. I'm in my messages all day. So if you ever send me a message, I will answer and I will start chatting with you. Because I love knowing how people's brains work. Ever since I was in college and probably high school too. Like, that was my passion is just talk to people and listen to the way they answer questions and perform social experiments at the bar. You know, like all sorts of fun on stuff. But it plays into marketing really well because it's going to help you be able to sell your products even easier and faster. So think about adding things on your sales pages. Like Video Ask is a great tool that you can install Video Ask for people who haven't heard of that tool before. You can put a video right on your sales page and say like, hey, if you have any questions or if there's anything I can do to support you, if you're stuck on anything or if this page doesn't make sense, send me a message. I'd love to chat with you and hear what it is that's keeping you stuck. Or if there's something else that a question I might be able to answer that I didn't answer on the sales page. So you're opening up a conversation where they don't necessarily have to buy your product, but they might send you a message and get to know you a little bit better. But you're definitely going to get to know them better too, which is even more important. Right? So we can make sure that you are asking questions of people who are curious. They're, they're on your page, they're raising their hand, I mean, maybe by themselves and they're, you know, on their laptop or on their, probably on their phone trying to figure out if they're a good fit for what you do or if they could get a result or if they're, you know, worthy of, of buying the thing that you have for sale. Worthiness is like a huge thing that goes through people's brain of like, am I able to get a result with this? Or am I worthy of actually finishing what I start? You know, all these worthiness comes up in a lot of weird ways, but so you can do video ask. Another thing that we do is hotjar. We install hot jar surveys on our sales pages to ask people questions. It's like a pop up window and it asks them some questions about their buying experience and if there's anything that they haven't had answered and Then we ask a question and says, is there anything else you want to tell me? And then it says in parentheses, I swear I read these. That's the key. You want to make it more human so they know it's not a bot. It's not, you know, something just on a page that you're never going to look at. Because I read every single response I get on these surveys and I really look at it. That's an awesome way to get to know your people better. Because when you know them, you can speak their language, you can create better offers that will serve them at a higher level. That's what, what it should be all about. If you are a, you know, a digital marketer or you're selling an info product or a coaching program of some kind, you want to be able to understand your people so that you can serve them. There's also, if you go to quiz.alibierk.com we started doing a scorecard for people when it comes to digital marketing. So you can create these scorecards that are way more effective than just a normal quiz because you're giving people a ranking from 0 to 100 on whatever it is that you are selling. So if you're selling nutrition coaching or relationships or how to make more money, you can give people this score, 0 to 100. And then you can segment your list based on what their answer is. You know, if it's 0 to 25, you know, a course might be a good answer. 0 to 50, maybe your group program is the next step. If it's 100, maybe they should be hired in on your team. I don't know. But you can figure out how to segment people based on these results from the scorecard. And again, if you want to study mine or hack mine, you can go to quiz.alibork.com and it has all these questions and they're amazing questions for us to get to know our audience even better and what they're struggling with. And again, you'll notice that number one question on that page is an open ended question. So it's not just yes, no, it's asking people, you know, what are you, what are you really struggling with? What can we help you with? Because again, the more answers we can get from people, the more ideas I'll have for new tiny offers to create new hooks for lead magnets or webinars or challenges. The more I can find the words from people, the more successful my business will be because I can, I can create more content and serve on an even deeper level. Okay. So those are my takeaways from getting to hang out at Russell Brunson's Mastermind. I hope this was helpful Again. If you have any questions, please don't ever hesitate to DM me. I hang out on Instagram the most. So go find me Ali Bjork is my username over there.
