Hi, everybody, it's Alyson Maslin. How are you doing? Thank you for coming and spending your evening or morning with me, depending where you are in the world right now. I am coming to you live from my headquarters in beautiful San Diego, California. Well, normally it is beautiful, bright and sunny out, but right now you might hear in the background torrential rains because it's flooding here and hopefully we're not all going to go rolling down the street. But we are here, rain or shine. I wouldn't miss it. I've got my whole crew here and we've been working several hours just getting live and all the things that have to happen on the tech end and they're the experts there. But I just wanted to be here with you. I'm so excited that I can connect with you like this. And you all are coming in. You're on the chat from all over the place. So we're going to be talking today about the latest and greatest marketing trends for 2016. And I'm just so excited about all the things that are happening that are out there that are available to everybody to market and grow your business, because that's what we're all about. I'm the CEO of Alison Maslin International, and what we do is we help business owners like you grow your business. So if you can just put in the chat where you're from and you know what your business is, that would be awesome. I see we've got Chicago, we've got Florida, and I'm just kind of monitoring the chat here, and I'm going to be connecting and I'm going to be answering your questions, too. So this is going to be fun. We really get to connect. And we have a special guest today that's a surprise guest coming on in a bit. And because I'm just full of surprises, we have an Apple tv. Who wants an Apple TV as my gift to you? Well, you've got to answer a question and a really fun question that I've come up with a little bit later. So you're going to want to stay on for the entire livestream with us today, and it's going to be a blast. So I'm going to ask you first of all to stay focused and turn off all your distractions. I know this is really hard. Most people at this point have the distraction, the focus about as long as a gnat. So. But I'm going to challenge you to really be present so that you can take it all in. Some of the things that I'm talking about are A little bit heady. And so you need to concentrate. It's not just visual. You actually need to listen to me so that it's going to make sense. Give yourself some privacy so that you can really hear everything that I'm sharing with you today. All right? Get something to write with, because I'm going to give you so much information. I'm going to be talking quickly. So also, I just want to say, please be forgiving with us on technology. We're doing everything we can to make this seamless. But, you know, if a slide stops or you don't hear me for five seconds, don't panic because we'll get everything going again. All right? So now just. You are in the right place. Place if you have a business, right, first of all, and you're ready to take that business to the next level. But maybe you. Maybe some of the challenges you have are that, gosh, you know, am I really reaching the right target audience? And maybe I have the right target audience, but am I getting to them in the right way? Right. Am I communicating to them in the right way? And. And so we're going to give you lots of really good, helpful tips with that. Maybe it is that you're really ready to get to the next level. And you're working so hard in your business, but you feel like you're spinning and you're not getting into the next level. Many of you got into business because you're passionate, you love what you do, but it sort of feels like a job. Have you ever had that happen? And that just means that you're working in your business and not on your business. So we really want to get your marketing working for you so that it's automated, that it's helping just bring those clients in so that you can really focus on what the CEO does. And that's really building the vision of the company and the brand and being out there and building those incredible relationships. Right? So you've come to the right place. If all of those things relate to you in business, we're always wanting to take it to the next level. I have so much I'm sharing with you today, tons and tons. I'm going to give as much as I can. I will tell you that some of you are going to be going, gosh, I want to know more of that. This is really inspiring. This information is going to help me so much. And you're going to want to take a deeper dive into. And later on, don't worry, because I'm going to share some opportunities with you that we're going to open up just on this live stream for you. All right? But don't worry because right now we're going to dive into all the incredible content that I'm going to share with you. All right, so let's see, we've got. Go ahead and comment on the chat. I want to hear where you're from, what is your business? Tell me about your business, what your business challenges are. Go ahead and put those into the chat. All right, so question where are you right now in your business? Okay. What is the status of your business? We're just, you know, coming through the end of 2015, starting a brand new year. And before you jump right into 2016, as we're, you know, talking about all this great marketing, it's important to look backwards at what worked and what didn't work. Okay. So that you can really analyze what were some of the marketing campaigns that worked and what were some of the marketing campaigns that didn't work and so that you can compare and really analyze. Right. And also what were some of the things that you enjoyed and what were some of the things that you didn't enjoy? How did you do revenue wise and where do you want to be? You know, what worked and what didn't? All right, so on the other side of that, what do you want to accomplish in 2016? Right? Where do you want to be at the end of this year? If you're looking a year from now and you're looking backwards, what do you want to have accomplished? What's the story that you're going to be telling that happened for you? Okay. What is a non negotiable? So write that down. I want to know what is your clear goal? Where do you want to be a year from now? Go ahead and put that into the chat. All right, so next question. How are you going to get there? What is the strategy? We've thought about what happened last year. Where do you want to go and be by the end of this year and what's the strategy that you're going to use to get there? So I'm going to do right now is I'm going to give you some tools on how to make that happen. All right, so let me just get keyed up here. Okay, so some of you know me and some of you don't. I want to just give you a little bit of background is that I have built 10 businesses starting since I was 19 years old. I grew up in a very entrepreneurial family and my father was an amazing Businessman. And I think just being around him while he was building his business, he built the largest women's clothing chain in the United States from 1955 into the early 80s. And I always got from my dad was that if you want something, go get it, go create it yourself. And so I think just from osmosis and that energy, I just develop this love for business. And what I've learned over the years, almost 30 years in business now, is that, you know, I really have this knack. And I also feel like that at this point in my years of business, after building all these companies, it's my turn to give back. And I feel like this is truly my best work. And so I'm honored really to be here with you today and to help you to, to grow your business. So what I learned over the years early on in business, I was so good at flying by the seat of my pants and just creating business here and creating business here. And I was making good money until everything underneath fell apart, like the bottom dropped out. And that means that I wasn't really organized in my systems, in my processes, in my marketing and all of those things. So over time I learned how to build a blueprint. And so when we talk about marketing today, it's important that you don't just go, okay, I'm going to go do this and I'm going to go do this. You need to have a solid plan and think it through. What often happens with entrepreneurs is that you panic when things aren't working right or maybe a campaign didn't work well or you're tight on cash flow, whatever, and you just go, okay, I'm going to go do this. And you're not really thinking it through. And so what I've learned is how to develop a rock solid plan to build seven figure, multiple seven figure businesses and also help my clients do the same. Now let's talk about marketing basics before I get into the new trends of 2016. And they're so cool, I can't wait to tell you about them. Lets just talk about marketing for a second. One of my first businesses was an advertising agency right here in San Diego called the Borali Group. And we did all types of advertising, radio, television, public relations, print ads, magazine ads, all of those things. And the interesting thing is with the new technology, with Internet, with all the social media, periscope, whatever, the premise of marketing stays the same. And that is, is that you want to get your message out into the marketplace in the biggest way possible, the most creative way possible. But it needs to be in a language that your potential client is going to hear. Right? And so that means the right messaging, right languaging, right audience, something that's going to be catchy and catch their attention. So all of the things I'm talking about, all these different strategies, you still need to really be focused on speaking to the right people. Otherwise you're completely wasting your time, you're wasting your money or wasting your energy. You're not going to get anywhere. So these are all things that I teach and I'll tell you about that a little bit more. But make sure in all of the things I'm going to be talking about that you're constantly analyzing, am I speaking to the right market? Do they truly get me? Do they value what I'm offering? Do they need what I'm offering? Are they willing to pay for what I'm offering? Does that make sense? All right. And it's also super important that you're using the right language. So if you're in front of a market, and let's say that your market is, you know, teenage girls and you're using, you know, if you're, you know, you're in your 50s and you're using language that, you know, a 50 year old would use, the teenage girls are, you know, it's going to go over their head and they're not going to hear you at all. So the right marketing and the right languaging. And languaging can be video, audio, you know, text, whatever. Okay. All right, so and let's see, we've got some people that are chiming in. Let's see. Peter. Hi. You're trying to develop a successful plant business. Awesome. And Judy, you are a jewelry designer and a massage therapist. Okay, let's see, let's see. Apora, you are in E commerce, which is awesome. What in E commerce are you, are you promoting and selling? So let's see. Catherine. Hi, Catherine, you would like to grow Your business from 70 to 30 clients by year end. We can do that. We can do that. All right, so let's see. Hi, Melissa, how are you? Continuing to take away all the lessons possible from past mistakes? Looking forward to starting a smarter, better, more abundant balance in 2016. I love that. And you know, here's the thing. How do you do? Learn from your mistakes. Don't be afraid of making mistakes. You know, you've heard the saying, I failed my way to the top. When you make mistakes, you figure out where you need to fill in the holes. Like prior to getting on this Live stream. We had some technical issues and so we were trying to figure it out. And obviously we want to have those systems fixed for next time. So it's actually an okay thing because then you find out where you can actually improve on for the next. All right, Melissa, So we are going to make that happen. All right, so let's talk about. Get back to the marketing. So we, you know, social media has been big, what, 2006, 2007. I don't know. When did MySpace come on? Do you guys remember what year that was? 2002, right? And then start. So when we started getting to Facebook, I don't know, I got on Facebook. 2008, something like that. Pretty much. Since then, I mean, it hasn't been all that long when you think about was all about getting likes and getting shares. And of course those things are important. But what it's really coming back to and what we all want as business owners is roi. Right? It's about the sales conversions. And sometimes you can get so caught up in the likes and the shares and it's great and how many people you've got following you. But I think it would be better if you had less people that were the right target market and that were actually buying from you. Right. That's really what we want. So your roi, of course, you're going to look at your metrics, at how many people are following you in shares and the value of it. But at the end of the day, it kind of, you know, unless you're doing this just for fun and you don't really want to make money, which is not really a business, then it's all about the sales conversions. Okay, so this is big for 2016, is this how can we shift the social media experience for business owners? I'm not saying just for fun and you're on social media and you're sharing what you did for New Year's Eve or whatever, and that's great and that's always fun to connect. But if you're talking about it for business, the shift really is what can we do on these platforms to actually create revenue. And there's some new strategies and tools that are going to offer that. So I'm going to talk about that. So here's the thing, just to give you a perspective. Okay, so pre Internet days, pre social media days, and you would place an ad in the paper and you know, people still do that. Right. But there's not a really long shelf life for that. Right. If you. That paper is going to go into the garbage can or maybe it's, you know, a direct mail piece that's, you know, it's going to be seen until it gets thrown away or it's going to get used or something like that. There really is not a long shelf life for that. Right? But on Facebook, on Twitter, through Google or Bing or whatever, your post, your promotion will live on for years. Okay, you will be able to find that. I was actually looking for some tips online about some livestream and I found my own video. Talking about livestream, which I thought that was kind of funny. I found tips for myself. So. But the thing is, is that my point is that the benefit goes, it has legs, right? It can go on and on. So you'll see right here on the screen a picture of me. I just did this interview two days ago on the news and I was talking about my blueprint and giving a bunch of tips and talking about we have a big event coming up. So I was talking about that. And so in the past, if you weren't watching the news right then pretty much that was it. That's the only chance that you had to see that, right? Unless I recorded it and maybe sent it to some friends or maybe put it on the website. But now this has legs. And so this interview can live on for, you know, ever until we're on to a new dimension or something like that. But that is really one of the coolest things about marketing and and through. Because social media has now shifted into organic search. You can be found by a lot of the posts and other things that you're putting up there right now. Advantages of digital marketing, the ability to move your business from local to global. Right? And even though we have a lot of marketing tips today for local area, but the point is you, it used to cost hundreds of thousands of dollars or more to be able to go global with your business, right? If you wanted to have something manufactured in China or you wanted to or if you wanted to just do business with somebody in other parts of the world, it just really wasn't possible with the ease that we have now. I mean you can be start a, you know, a greeting card business today and be global tomorrow. So one of the big advantages of digital, the next advantage is that it's measurable. So when we used to do ads for, in advertising for the agency and so forth, we would run an ad in a magazine or on newspaper or even television. And unless you had a special phone number or something to track it, it was really hard to track your results. Now we have more data and more analysis than ever. Are you using that? I mean, it's not just your Google Analytics, which is great, but gosh, Facebook has so many metrics that you can really see who is reading your content and how many times they're sharing it and what they're liking most and what words they're attracted to most. And, and of course, their interests, their hobbies, what they're reading. All of these gems are so valuable in all of the other marketing that we're doing. So look into that. Dive into all that analysis that can help you make decisions for later on as well in other marketing campaigns that you're doing. Okay, all right. So how are you guys doing? Are you doing all right? So I'm going to go on to this content. Does anybody have questions? Let's see. Debbie, Tow Truck Inc. Personalized foot care in the comfort of your home. Wow, is that cool. Talk about mobile businesses, which is such a hot trend right now. Right? Let's see what else we have here. Anyway, very cool. All right, so as a marketer right now in 2016, you have to think of yourself as a publisher because you have to be thinking about putting content out all of the time. Like now the English that you did in high school and really coming into full form, right? Like, you're thinking, well, you know, literature is not my thing. I'm going to take science. Guess what? The writer in you, whether you like it or not, this is your time. So, you know, you may need to brush up on some of that grammar. And I have to say, sometimes I say to my coo, Lisa, are people going taking English class anymore? Because sometimes the grammar, I think texting has not really been good for our English language. So anyway, you have to be thinking of yourself as a publisher because we can put more. It's all about content, everything. You know, your posts, your tweets, what's on LinkedIn, what is going to raise the ranking on your website, because nothing's better than Natural Search. You is all going to be about the new content and things that you're putting out. Okay? And that doesn't mean, like what I had for lunch today. I mean something really valuable. And if you're going to be developing a community around what you do, you need to put your wisdom out there, right? Like I'm doing today. I'm sharing with you these great marketing trends, and I've got lots more to come here. So, you know, you guys get to know me. You see, I know what I'm talking about. I know a little bit about Business or a lot about business and you develop a relationship. So how can you take your inner wisdom and put that out into the cosmos so that people can get to know you, connect with you like you, trust you and move forward with you? You got it. And you know, this is a chance for you to shine your light out there. Right? I mean, be yourself. Don't try to be something or someone else. Be who you are. Be authentic. Right. Share how you feel about something. What are you passionate about in your business? What excites you? What's your higher purpose? What pisses you off, what irritates you? Those are the things that are going to really get that traction in the media. And you want to talk with people, not over their heads. Now let's get into talking a little bit more about searching because there's been a lot of controversy. You know what is going to get us more traction? Is it going to be the social media? Is it going to be Google? What should I be doing more of? And the truth is, is that you need to be doing all of it. But I don't mean that you have to be on every single social media platform. There's no way I'd rather you pick three that you just dive deeply with and, and just do a great job, you know, and kill it. Okay. But what studies have been done recently and what is still coming up on top is the natural searches on Google, okay. That are really giving the traffic, 300% more traffic to the websites. So for instance, if I'm looking, let's just say I bought my husband a watch, kind of a GPS thing. And then when he runs on the treadmill, he can measure his heart rate and all that stuff. Right? I'm ready to buy. I get on Google and I'm looking for it. I'm there to buy social media. It's more, you know, I say Google's kind of like the yellow Pages. Social media is like a coffee shop. You're building a relationship and then people will ultimately then begin to move forward with you. And over the long term it's all about building those long term relationships. Right? Right. But if I'm really looking to buy and I want to do something right, then I'm going to key it into Google. So it's still so important is with your keywords and all of those things. So now kind of indirectly a lot of your social media can promote your ranking on Google. Okay? So some of the social media posts that have had a lot of shares, I had this blog that I did from 2007 or something. And it was, I can't remember the title now. Something about 10 ways to have more of a soul enriching business. And that I'm telling you, that blog has. It always comes up when you're Googling me. So but you know, so Google is still. You're going to want to be blogging. You're wanting, you're going to wanna, gonna do. Talk about really good English. So you're gonna want to put content out there to raise your ranking on Google. Okay, so let's talk about some, even some really cool things that are happening. How are you guys doing? How's everybody doing? Do you have any questions about what, what any questions that I have asked so far? AdWords for ROI, Facebook for better exposure. Yep. Let's see. All right, all right, so ask your questions. If there's things that are coming up that I'm saying that interest you and you have some questions about it, I will do my best to answer. So go ahead in the chat and just put your questions in so that I can connect with you and whatever challenges that you're having. So, Salvador, great, great. All right, let's talk about location based marketing because this is so cool. All right, what is location based marketing? So some of you have a brick and mortar location or maybe you're having an event in your local area. I know, I was just talking about global. But we have our local community as well and the business that we can do right around our neighborhoods. Right. And so this is where, right on your, you know, mobile device here you. Where businesses can alert you within like a mile radius of things that are going on in their business. Right. So in real time they can get a sense of where you are and they can say, you know, I've got something special going on here. So that's the cool thing, is that it is in real time. So you could be walking around in the grocery store and it pops up that says, hey, you know, we're doing eyebrow waxing at the salon next door. I just noticed that you're here and you know, things like that or that they're having a special at the dry cleaning. So even for instance, Jared, my creative director who's here was just telling me that Starbucks is coming out with something where you will, let's say that you just, you know, put in your order for whatever latte that you want and your chocolate croissant and it's going to be able to tell where you are based on your location and how quick to have that ready. So you Just put that in there. Isn't that cool? I don't know about you, but I'm always rushing in the morning and I'm not really a morning person. I'm more of a night owl. And so being able to get that, you know, in a few minutes less, I love it. I love it. So we're in this age of, it's kind of, we call it the age of Uber, where things are on demand. We want things with ease, we want things simpler, faster, and all of that. So that's where all of this on demand marketing is so cool. So, as I said that you can target ads in real time within a 1 to 5 mile radius of a location. So think about with your business. What are some things that, you know, especially, you know, we just came out of the holidays, but, you know, let's think of, we've got Valentine's Day coming up. What is something special that you could. Maybe you're a florist and you wanted to put out that you have a rose special and, you know, letting people know, letting Mr. Wonderful know on his phone that you've got roses for his, his sweetheart, you know, things like that. So if you are wanting to target people in a local area, so here's an example, come to Jaspers for great organic food at unbeatable prices. This is an ad that would just come right up for you being in a certain area. You can also put call to action buttons like get directions. Okay, call now, send a message, learn more. Something that is going to entice people to push that button. And then, of course, then you're going to be connecting with them and they're going to be able to begin to develop that relationship with you. So if you're a restaurant and let's say you have some special for breakfast, or let's say that your business is near a movie theater and you are doing something special that evening and so you can target people that are going to the movie theater. Hey, after the movie, come on over here for a drink. This is a campaign that Uggs Australia did for, you know, a gift that they were giving away just to attract people. So people that are in the mall and they can pick that up and entice them to come into the store and get their special gift. Isn't that cool? I think that's just. I love this. I absolutely love it. All right, so have you done any work on Facebook, ads manager? I have, and I'm going to talk a little bit about Facebook. I'm not going to talk about Facebook ads per se. But I have some really cool things that are coming on Facebook, so I'm going to share that with you right now. So, lead ads. So you know how when you signed up for this live stream, right, you went to a page, a landing page or a splash page, whatever you want to call it, and you put in your information that you were interested in attending this live stream with me today. Well, now Facebook is making it so much easier. You can actually have your splash page just be a post right on Facebook so you don't have to make the landing page, or you can make the landing page and this is something extra. But it's just the ease of building your database. Why is it important that you build your database? You guys must know this, right? This is Marketing 101. Your database are prospects that will turn to leads and then hopefully turn into clients that you're going to be able to work with and help and change their life and all those wonderful things, right? So we're always looking at new ways where you can build that database. And it's just so crucial in the times that we're living in. And so Facebook has this really cool opportunity where you have. So let's just say, for instance, if we're promoting this live stream, it was just right as a sponsored ad, and you just fill in that information right then and there. Isn't that neat? I mean, first of all, it's going to save you money because you're not going to have to build the landing page or it's just a way for you to reach a whole other market. People that are on Facebook or that are on Twitter or on LinkedIn, they want to stay there, right? A lot of times you will lose people because they don't want to go onto another page. So while you've got people there and they're interested in what they see, then you can give them something. Maybe you're even going to give them. Maybe it's not a webinar, maybe it's not an event, but maybe you're giving people a gift, an ebook, an audio, tickets to something, a discount on something. But these lead ads, you don't ever have to leave Facebook and you're going to be able to build that following. I think that's so cool. Do you guys think that's cool? Yeah, my team thinks it's cool. All right, so you can also. Here are some of the options to collect the leads. The buttons apply now. Download, get a quote, learn more, subscribe. Right, These are the call to action Buttons, and all of those are available on Facebook. So. So there's so many more things that we can do to build that business online. Right. And let me just tell you from someone from the advertising world years ago, and I know that people get frustrated because it's like, gosh, I've got to do Facebook ads or I've got to pay for this sponsored ad. Can I tell you how much less expensive it is than what it used to be? Where you'd spend like $1,000 for an ad like this big that would maybe last for, you know, a couple weeks and that's it and get thrown away. And really, unless somebody saw that magazine, there was no way to share it. So I'm just giving you kind of a real perspective here on the value of this. It's huge. Okay? And sometimes people say, well, gosh, it's costing me a dollar per lead or 80 cents per lead. Well, if that lead turns into a customer, would you spend a dollar, would you spend $10? Would you spend $100 to get a customer that spends thousands of dollars with you over time? Of course you would, right? So you've got to open your mind a little bit to understand what the ROI is. And that's what goes back to what I was talking about earlier about tracking your ROI and really analyzing the numbers. So if you do do a webinar or a class or an opt in where you're giving something away, really look at how much you're spending and what you get on return so that you can start comparing that with every campaign that you do. Now, this is an example of when you're building your opt up, opt in form, all of the things that you can ask so you can really customize it to the specific market and all the type of information that you want to get from the customer. So it's quite amazing as far as what Facebook is doing is it's like market research that we would normally hire a company and spend thousands and thousands of dollars to get this information. So. So it's super valuable. All right, so what is next? Let's see. What about campaigns on Google? Hi, Wendy, how are you? Well, I don't have that on here today, Wendy, but good question. Let me get back to you on that. And unless. Jared, do you have an answer on that? She's asking what about campaigns on Google? They don't have lead generation forms yet. Okay. No lead generation forms, Wendy, on Google yet. Okay. And I'm getting it from the source here, the ever wonderful Jarrett Salas. Okay, let's see. How does a small business tap into location based marketing? Is there an app? This is something that you're going to be able to get right from. From Facebook, Right? Right through Facebook, yeah. All right, let me move on. Because Twitter is right in there with Facebook and they are rolling out lead generation forms too, because why they don't want you to leave Twitter. Do you blame them? I don't blame them. So they, if you are building a following or building your database, you can have that form right on Twitter. And here's an example right here. Let's see. They're giving some gifts away. So sign up so that you can get this Osprey backpack. And again, gifts. What can you give away that is enticing enough that people are going to want to learn more about you? And here's the thing, it's not just like bribery, which kind of sounds like it. You know, I'll give you this if you stay on. But it's also just really great customer service. Right. Like for my company, for our company here, Allison Maslin International. And we work with business owners. We're always trying to think of how can we give more value, what can we do to make our clients happier, what can we do to make our clients more successful? So you need to be thinking of it that way. What can you do? What can you give and share to build that customer loyalty? Okay, all right. So this is even. This is just way cool also. So now you can actually sell your products directly on social media. Okay. So what you used to have to do, like let's say on Facebook, you know, if you were going to directly sell on Facebook, really the only thing you could do, either direct people to your website or you say message me, or you say, leave your email address and I'll contact you. And people have actually been really successful with that. I'm trying to think now all of a sudden I can't think of the company, but the woman was on top of on the COVID of Ink magazine about a year ago. Lollywall. What was it now? I can't think of it. Somebody put it in the chat. But she built this clothing manufacturing company in a warehouse in I think South Carolina or North Carolina and just sewing her own clothes. And. Oh, it's an incredible story. Anyway, all she did was one day she took a picture of the clothes, put them on Facebook and said, if you're interested in ordering this, put your email address in there and I'll get back to you. And then she went on with some stuff, came back and had all these people wanting to place orders and she ended up building a several million dollar company just doing this. So they're looking for the name here and we'll get that to you in a second. But that worked. But it's not always so reliable. And a lot of times people don't want to put their email addresses on social media. So what do we have for them? So we want to be able to, of course we want to drive people to the website. But what if they didn't have to go to the website? What if they could buy right there? I mean, wouldn't that be great? Guess what? You can buy right there. So for instance, YouTube has shopping ads so that people can buy right from YouTube. You know, when you're watching the videos, you can have ads that come up right there on YouTube. Whether it's a video ad, it could be on your video on YouTube or it could be on other people's ads. Alright, so here's one for a camera that looks like a very cool camera. And so let's say that you know, when you're talking about finding the right market, if you're going to put your ad on a video and you're selling cameras, obviously you're going to need to do your research to find out what is going to be the best market. What videos are people that are interested in photography watching on YouTube? Okay, here's another one as well. So on sleeper SOPA sleeper sofas. So these are ads that you can click and to shop right away right from YouTube videos and YouTube. I mean it's a very powerful engine obviously and I don't think people are using utilizing YouTube enough in your business. Are you really working on getting subscribers for YouTube? You might have a lot of videos on there, but are you really pushing your subscribers? But so YouTube is on the bandwagon as far as being able to buy right off the YouTube videos. Now Twitter is right in the party as well that you, they have buy it now buttons. So if, let's say they post like here this back to school T shirt. Oh that's so cute. I'd like to get that for my daughter. Bye now I don't have to go searching, I don't have to do research. Find the website, then get to the website and then you can't find the product and then I'm busy and I'm off to something else, right? And it doesn't happen how great that you can actually buy right then and there on the spot. So buy it now. Twitter has launched that so take a look at that and see if that is worth doing that for your business, your product, your service.
Right.
It doesn't just have to be a consumer goods product. Could be for your service, could be for your massage business, it could be for your plant business. All of you that are participating, Wendy, you're welcome. Glad you like that. So Wendy says, hi, Jared. All right, so here's another example. Checkout happens without having to leave Twitter. So you can see some samples of the ads and you see the Buy now buttons. Right? Okay. We're going to have. So, you know, like all you shopaholics, I tell you, you might have to be going into therapy because you're going to be distracted by all of these ads. And they're making it so easy for us to buy. It's kind of, kind of hard to. You know, I like to buy at bcbg and now every time I'm on Facebook, I see the dress dancing around. It's kind of hard for me to ignore it. All right, then Pinterest is right in there too, of course. And so you can be looking at some beautiful decorating and you're like, oh, my gosh, that would be perfect for my house, my bedroom, my windowsill, all of that. Guess what? Just buy it right then and there. I know Pinterest has been great because it pins right back to your website, direct click. But gosh, you don't even have to do that. Save a step, simplify the process. When you are selling as a business owner, you want to always simplify the process. And that's why a lot of people have abandoned carts, shopping carts, because your website might be a little bit too complicated. So anytime that you can save a step and make the buying decision easier for people, don't make it complicated. You're going to have much more. A higher likelihood that the consumer is going to take that step and buy from you. All right, how are we doing? Are you guys hanging in there? I still have quite a bit. So this is really cool stuff that you guys are going to implement. And this is something that I'm going to share with you now that actually I think is the most interesting of all. Can you stand it? All right. And then I've got a guest that I'm going to bring on in just a few minutes. I've got some really cool things to share. And remember, you have a chance to win an Apple tv, because I'm going to ask this trivia question, and if you know the answer and you're the first one to answer. You get it? And we're going to ship it right off to you tomorrow. Okey doke. All right, so let's see. Any other questions? Go ahead and ask your questions. Any questions of what I've been talking about or challenges in your business with marketing? I'd love to know that. In fact, we have someone coming on that's quite an expert at that in just a moment. All right, so the thing that is, you know how you work so hard at your marketing, right? How much time do you spend on your marketing, really? Because you really should be working on your marketing several hours a day. Sales and marketing, right? What if you had your customers marketing for you or your prospects marketing for you? I mean, like, how does that blow your mind? So let me talk about that a little bit, because GoPro is the bomb when it comes to this strategy. And really how GoPro just has blown it up is from. They call it ugc, okay? New term, user generated content, meaning that you're not creating the content, they are, and they're out there promoting you. It doesn't get any better. So how did GoPro do it? So first of all, think about this. How can you position your brand to create a more enthusiastic user community? How can you position your brand, your product or service so that people can get excited about it? What is it that you do or could do for people that you could get some buzz going, right? So let's. We'll get back to this in a second. At the same time that you're creating the buzz, who can you partner with? So GoPro partnered with hotels, with athletes, with celebrities, all of that. And they said, here, here's my camera. Go take one and go jump off a cliff and make sure you wear your GoPro, right? And then send us the video. So they're out there all over the world just doing these crazy things, you know, on the bikes, just going down the mountains. And all they're doing is, all this is doing is creating buzz for GoPro. And you all can do the same thing, okay. In a different way, of course. So what you're doing is you're not only promoting your business, but you're making your audience, you're getting them into the spotlight. And people love that. How can you help your customers have that 15 minutes of fame, right? So there are a lot of ways to do this, okay? So you can do contests. So I'm just. For instance, let's say that you are a interior designer, okay? And you say the, you know, the couple that has, you know, the most unique way of direct decorating their house for Valentine's Day gets a free room makeover from, you know, moi. And so that you do a contest, and they. People put out videos and promoting, okay. And then you show, like, the before and afters. And then, you know, let's say. Let's say you have five people win the contest, and they're all out there on Facebook or on social media because you've taken video. You've had. They've taken videos of their experience. They're telling everybody about it. And as we know, in public relations, nothing is more powerful than if someone else is talking about your business besides you. Right? So that's why, like, for me, when I was on the news the other day, that's great, because it's not just me talking about what I'm doing. I have somebody else who's a third party, who's an expert talking about it. That's what you want. How can you get your community promoting you? I mean, that's, to me, is so exciting. So let's say you're an author. What if you did a book challenge where, you know, you gave away a lot of books when people signed up, but the only thing that you asked in return was that they would put a testimonial on Facebook about your book. Right. In return that you would give a free gift of the book. So there's a lot of creative ways to do that. The other thing to think about is who can you partner with to also get more exposure? Anytime that we do partnerships with other business owners or what we're doing is we're expanding our reach, right? So who could you partner with that could be promoting you on social media as well as bringing their database in? So just some of the partnerships that, you know, you've seen of recently. So, for instance, Oprah and her chai tea with Starbucks. That was so brilliant for Starbucks, right? Because they're getting all the reach of Oprah, and. And then Oprah's getting all the reach of Starbucks. Right? Well, you don't have to be a Starbucks or Oprah to make that happen. How could you partner with a product that you carry? Or, you know, I know somebody was on here was a massage therapist. Could you partner with the company that does the, you know, the massage tables or partnering with a nutrition firm or something like that? You get them out there promoting you. You're promoting them on social media. Everybody wins, okay? So that's one of the fastest ways to grow your business. And I do partnerships and affiliate promotions. With business owners all the time. Right. And think of other business owners that have a similar market that you do, that you both can work together and expand your reach. So this is one of the things that GoPro did because by working with the hotels, the hotels are promoting their GoPro and the celebrities and so forth. All right, so how's everybody doing? Are yellow pages or phone book online ads still worth in terms of roi? You know, I don't remember the last time that I looked at a yellow Pages. I know that when they were, I think they were sitting on our mailboxes out there for like months before finally people picked them up. I'm not saying that people aren't using them. Probably more of an elderly audience. And if that is definitely your reach, I would say millennials, probably not. So. Good question. I'd rather it depends on what your market is. So, you know, if we were to work together, obviously I'd be able to give you clear cut advice on that. But my guess is probably, I don't think that that's going to be your best ROI probably at all, actually. So here's the thing. We've got digital advertising, but don't forget about Face to Face. Nothing is going to move you faster than connecting in person. I tell you this because digital advertising is phenomenal, right? But oftentimes business owners, I find are hiding behind their computer. I mean, this is fun. I get to really connect with you and engage with you. And I think it's like the next best thing to being in person. But for you make sure that you're still getting out there and connecting with people and networking and going to events and, you know, sponsoring events and finding ways to get in front of people. Because nothing is going to build that bond and that trust faster than meeting people in person. You still online are going to have to follow up with people, you know, let's say 15 times or maybe in person, you know, five to seven times. So it's about double or more online. Okay, so you want to be working on building those relationships every day. You also want to, in all the things that I'm telling you, I'd say that marketing can be so overwhelming. And I probably just overwhelmed you more because you're like, oh my gosh, I have so much to do already. Now I'm going to add this to the plate too. Right? It does get overwhelming. And you don't have to do everything. Don't do everything, please. We have to find what is right specifically for your business. So how have I grown all these Businesses over the years. I've always had a business coach, all right? I've had a business coach for years and years and years. I'm in a mastermind myself, and this is how I've been able to create success. You always want to work with people that are at the level that you want to get to, right? To take it to the next level. And so trying to figure this stuff out by yourself, number one, you're going to throw a lot of money away and you're going to waste thousands of hours working on the right thing. Why not work with someone that's already been there and done it, that just says, hey, just do this, this, this, you know, and analyzing your business. So don't feel like you've got to do it alone. You don't have to do it alone. Get the support now. Speaking of support, and I still have some really cool things that I want to share with you. And I've got this really cool Apple tv, right? And if you don't get the question right, guess who's taking it home tonight? Me. So. But I'm sure you get the question right. I have a really cool opportunity to share with you, but I want you to stay because we're going to do the contest and I have some more tips to do share with you. So we have some water here because I'm talking so much. So what I want to share with you is something that I am so, so excited about. All right. But again, hang on. I got my best tips for last year. How are you guys doing? You doing all right? Cool. I am having so much fun. Thank you for sharing your time with me tonight because I know that there's so many other things that you could be doing and I hope you're really enjoying this because this is my favorite thing. It's helping business owners like you. So I want to tell you about something that's coming up in two weeks. All right? We work on this for months and months, like six months, and we're two weeks away. Let me just tell you, I don't think I'm going to be sleeping over the next two weeks because the biggest event that I host all year long is happening January 22nd to the 24th. So hang here with me because even if you're not in San Diego, just hang on for a second because I want you to hear this. This is really important. Okay? We have nearly 500 business owners flying in to San Diego for the entrepreneurial event of the year. Now, I talked about all of this digital advertising, but there's nothing like face to face. You want to catapult your business. In 2016, you get your butt to San Diego for this event, and let me tell you why. Okay? So what is unique about this event is that it's not just us firing a bunch of information at you at all. This is a very interactive event. For three days, we are going to build your very own business blueprint. Okay? We're going to build your revenue streams. Whether you have revenue streams, you've been in business for years or you don't, you always need to be adding on other revenue streams to be bringing in more income. Right? Or improving on what you have. So. So we're going to work on the creativity, and you're going to learn so many cool, inexpensive ways to add more income, a lot more income into your business. We're going to teach you all about the marketing like we're doing now, but we're going to really dive deep in working through your target market and how to reach them. And we're actually going to build a plan. In fact, hold on a second, Jared, can you go back there and grab the binder and a couple of those charts? Because I forgot to have them up here so I can show you. Like, we give away so much, but what we're doing is it's interactive over the three days, and you're going to leave with a plan for the year, for everything. Now, what happens when you have a step by step action plan? What happens? What happens is that you're confident and you have clarity and you're not wasting your time. So when you wake up on Monday morning or Tuesday morning, when you get back home, is that, you know, thank you. You know exactly what to do and you just feel tremendous, like you're really on it. I mean, how much time? Entrepreneurs, the frustration, being an entrepreneur, is it like you're like an island and you're confused a lot of the time and you're like, God, should I do this, should I do that? If you know the answer and you have a solid plan, which is what we're going to work with you on, specifically your very own customized plan, your whole business changes. Your whole business changes. Now, some of you might be thinking, sounds great, Allison. I'd love to come to San Diego. I can't get there. I can't get away from my business. I can't leave my kids. This is the biggest mistake that business owners make. The reason your business doesn't grow is because you're working in your business instead of on your Business. And when you're working on your business, it grows fast. Okay, so you can jump into the year and try this strategy and that. But when you have an actual plan and you step away from the distractions at home because when you are in a bubble for three days, man, the aha's the direction, the, the clarity comes. But when you're at home with this demand and that demand and all of the noise, it is next to impossible to truly, truly plan. And this is one of the secrets to my success. In fact, in 2016 I already have five events that I'm going to because for me, stepping away from my business is where the magic happens. But there is. I have never been in all the events that I attend. I have never attended an event like this. This, it is absolutely incredible. We're going to tell you a little bit more about that then I have a special guest to come on. But remember we have the Apple TV we're giving away in a few minutes and I have more tips, my best tips of all. I'm saving for last. So sorry guys, but that's my gift for you. Just here's the deal. You showed up here today because you want to grow in your business. You want to get to the next level for kudos for you for showing up, for being here and I want to reward you for that. And if I didn't tell you about this opportunity, then you know I'm not really sharing what like because I know that this is the best possible event that you could attend then I am not serving you by sharing this opportunity with you. And you're not going to be able to grow and catapult like I know that you can. So as we've got here, as you can see, San Diego, January 22nd to the 24th and the sun will be shining by then, I promise. Because I talked to God and he told me that the sun is going to be shining then and it usually is. We're going to be developing your revenue streams, the latest in marketing online and offline. We're going to develop your strategics sales plan. We're going to put systems together. You're going to learn how to hire a team on any budget. How incredible to have a team around you and actually have everything you need. So I wanted Jared to show this because let me just tell you the strategies, the tools in here. We give you everything. You don't have to figure out what kind of opt ins to create. We're actually going to even do the wording for you to show you the headlines to use so that you can, you know, all of the things that you're doing are going to convert so much higher. And we have people that leave this event, I'm not kidding you, that triple their business. And I'm going to tell you all about that in just a second. So some of you are sitting there going, gosh, this sounds amazing. So let me tell you, all you have to do. I'm going to tell you a little bit more because we've got a special bonuses and prices and all that just today for you on this live stream because the event is two weeks from now and we're almost sold out. We don't have very many seats left. I think maybe we have like 30 seats left, something like that. I mean we are just about full. This is our fifth year of leading this event and people come back every single year because it's the best way for them to plan their strategy for the entire year. But we are almost sold out again. We've sold out every year. The other thing is what happens when you network with business owners that from all over the world that you do. What happens is you do business with them, you get customers in the room. Like I said, there's nothing better than face to face, right? So, so people do thousands of dollars of business and they partner do business deals together and we really create a mastermind experience and the energy in the room. What is so true is that you're going to operate at the level of the five people that you surround yourself with most. So being in a room with about 500 people for three full days, let me tell you, it is life changing. Life changing. People go home and are so excited because it's a completely new outlook on your life. Now this isn't just a rah rah inspirational event. This is actually the steps of exactly how to take it and implement it into your business and in your life. What a gift to give to yourself. All you have to do is go to blast off event special dot com. Now normally the cost of the event is $700 right now. And it's actually before the event, it's going up to 995. But for today only for you on this very special opportunity. You can come for 397. 397. I mean that's like maybe three nice dinners out to change your life. You just do not want to miss it. You do not want to miss it. So Deb Cantrell from Fort Worth, Texas, near Dallas, she came to the event and she has A chef business, food delivery, healthy food. And she came to Blast Off. And from the structure that she learned, she went home, put it in place, and tripled her business. I mean, what are you making now in your business? Are you making 50,0001-500005-00000? A million? What would that be like if you tripled your business in 2006? I mean, how much extra cash would you like each month? Okay, because this is what we're going to teach you how to do. I'm not about a little growth. I'm talking about a lot of growth. A lot of growth. And I can stand behind this because we've done it over and over again. So here is the price. You can see it right here. All you got to do is go to blast off event special.com and grab your seat quickly because they're going to be gone. And it's only $3.97. You're saving a ton of money. But let me show you some of the bonuses that you're getting from purchasing this right now that nobody else is getting. So this is my special gift for you for showing up now. Stay with us because I still have my best tips at when I'm done talking about this in just a few minutes, and then we're going to do the contest for the Apple tv. Okay, so look, this is like. This is heavy. Like, I spend months pulling this together for you and the charts, and I'm so visual, and I'm just so excited to be working with you in person. So I want you to get yourself to San Diego and for doing that as our gift, you. You're going to get the interactive Life Coach software, which is a software that I've developed and people love because it helps you get clear on your direction, your passion, and help you stay on track with your business. And then we're going to give away the Apple tv. All right, so here we go.
My dreams seemed like they were big when I got here, and they're even bigger now.
If you're serious about making change, if you're serious about taking yourself from one level to the next, for the last two to three years, I was looking for this, something that was a structure that really is a tangible and really an actionable road to success. Allison offers a lot of templates and practical applications and different techniques to empower you to actually make the changes and.
Take the action that you need to take in order to succeed.
I have gotten so much out of this event. It's hard even to put into words.
Most of all, I think opportunity is the first thing that comes to mind. What I realized is that there's so many different opportunities for revenue streams that I never even knew were out there that I'm just so excited because now.
I think just the potential for what.
I already have going and where I can go is so much, much more.
I'm creating more possibilities of taking one of my brands to a national level. And that's really why I'm here today.
To try to grab that takeaway or.
That breakthrough, if you will. And I'm seeing that I'm going to.
Get that through this network.
This is my second time attending the Business Breakthrough Blast off event, and this is really such a great event. If you're wanting to gain clarity and direction in your business and gain the tools and strategies you need to turn your dream into reality. Thank you so much, Alison, for your guidance and inspiration. And also, if you're really thinking about this event, I strongly encourage you to join Alison and her team. You'll be so glad you did, and you'll be able to really grow your business as big as you want to grow it. I've been in business for 17 years as a CEO, so I know a lot about business. And I'm really, really impressed with how she delivers, how easy she makes it in breaking it down. And I love, love, love the blueprint. I could see so much potential. I mean, we're already doing so well as a company, and I just want to keep going on that train. And I feel like as for me in particular, I have so many goals and so much that I'm working on, that having someone to help me focus and really drill down on the things that are going to help me now and six months from now and a.
Year from now is really vitally important.
I came here this weekend wanting structure and inspiration, and I got those things. So with her worksheets and a lot of the information that she provides, I mean, it was just jam packed with. With all kinds of great content that I can now apply to my business and take it to a whole other level. Not only am I inspired by Alison, I'm learning from the people that I meet at this event and networking with. So I just feel like I'm part of this family, part of this community who's really out to make their business make a difference in the world. So wasn't that incredible? Did you feel the energy in that video? Just imagine being in a room like that with hundreds of people feeling that connection, feeling that excitement and the focus and the ideas that this is finally the year that you make it happen. Right? I mean, some of you might be thinking, well, is it the right time? Is it not the right time? My question to you, really, how old do you want to be before you go after your dreams? Because there is no time like the present. You have to make it the right time. And so, again, all you need to do is go to Blast off event special dot com. All right? No time like the present. You also can bring a friend for 1 97. You can bring a friend for 1 97. And just for you all, the hotel. We have a special at the Marriott in beautiful La jolla for only $149. Now, the hotel is almost sold out. I mean, we've been adding rooms. We've taken over the whole hotel. We're two weeks away. So there's no deciding at this point. It's like, you know, decision, go. But I'm also, I've got more content for you, and I'm going to give away this Apple TV and give you some more tips. So hang in there with me. But I'm super excited because I have a very special guest that I want to introduce you to. And my guest is Stephanie Nevenskis. Now, Stephanie is the CEO of Sizzle Force Marketing, and she is a marketing guru. And talk about all the marketing tips that I was sharing with you today. Stephanie knows about all this and so much more, and I was blessed to get to know Stephanie, and she attended my event and Blast Off. So she's here today, and I want you to meet her and learn about her business and everything. So welcome, Stephanie.
Thank you. Thank you.
Yeah, welcome. So why don't you just kind of first of all tell everybody about who you are and your business and what you do.
Okay. So I own Sizzle Force Marketing, and I help health and wellness practitioners create and share stories that help them get noticed and attract more business and, bottom line, make more money on a daily basis.
Yeah. Well, fantastic. And it's all about getting noticed, right? And building that community. And you're so brilliant in doing that. And you and I know so many clients that you've helped with their businesses, and they're just doing so well because of the work that you've done. So you decided to come to Blast off and why don't you just, you know, because those of you here don't know. You tell them where you were back then prior to coming to Blast off and working with me and all of that, and you know, what happened.
Okay, so When I decided to come to the Blastoff event, I actually had just been looking at an MBA program because I had been in my craft for so many years. But I got to a point where I felt like I had exhausted doing everything I knew how to do to grow the company. And so I started looking at MBA program, thinking, this is probably the next step. This is the next logical thing I should do. And I ended up going out for lunch that weekend with my husband. And I told him, I said, well, I've been looking at this MBA program. And he said, what, are you crazy? We have four kids. How are you going to get an MBA and you have a business? And I said, okay, well, the alternative is that I could go to this event I heard about, and it's three, three days, and it's like a crash course MBA, right.
And an MBA is like, you know, $100,000 or more, right?
Yeah. And at least two years of your time.
Right.
And so I told my husband this and he goes, why didn't you go to the three day event? So I walked in and I really didn't know exactly what to expect. I mean, I had read the ad and whatnot, but you never know what you're really going to get. And I remember being immediately very impressed just with the caliber of people that were there. I felt like I had found my tribe, I had found business people that were serious about getting to the next level, that were excited, that were ready to jump in and get things done. And it was so refreshing right from the beginning. Everyone's really friendly too. And once I started going through the material that you were leading, some huge things started happening for me. One of the things that was enormous was a mindset shift. I had been stuck in my own story for years. My story, you know, my woe is me story and how why this is only going to go this far and why it's never going to get to where I really want it to be.
Right.
And you took us through some exercises about how we were thinking about things. And I broke down and I started crying as I was working on it at my table around like 10 strangers. And it was a huge breakthrough for me because it just became very clear to me that I can have what I want and it is possible. I just have to change some things that I'm doing. And you really brought that out at that first event for me. That was huge. And I've carried that with me since, and I'm still growing through that. But it's amazing what's happened Since.
Yeah, yeah. And so I want to talk about what's happened since because it's incredible. But what else about. Was there anything else about the event that stood out for you that was different than other events that you've been to?
It was really get things done. It wasn't theory. It wasn't, let's talk about what you can do, and then I'll send you home with, you know, 10 years worth of work to do on your own.
Right.
We actually sat down at the event and we did the worksheets while we were there, and we talked with people at our tables through the exercises. And I mean, it was amazing getting stuff done. I actually had been to three similar. Well, they were billed as similar events, let's put it that way.
Right.
Prior to meeting you. And none of them were like this. Yours was very much like, I went up to my room afterwards and I crashed because I was mentally exhausted and because I have done so much transformational work.
Right, right. And so when you left the event, I mean, and that's one of the things that I'm just so, you know, focused on at the event is I want everyone to leave with a plan and know what they're doing, not just, again, a bunch of philosophy, oh, yeah, this is what you should do, and this is how other people do it. No, let's do this so that you can go home and hit the ground running. Right.
And I did.
And you did.
Yeah.
So here we are, like a year later, and you're actually coming to the event. You're going to be sponsoring the event and have a booth and all that, so you can come meet Stephanie. But what has changed? Let's talk about the things that have changed for you and your business.
Well, there were, like, some immediate, huge, huge changes happened, like, right after Blast off because I did that mind work. And the story in my head thing kind of broke that down. I immediately. I think it was the same week, actually, as Blast Off. I went out and I leased my first office space. And I said, I'm done with this, like, playing small, working on the couch stuff. I'm going big. So I leased my first office space, which was huge. And it was another mind shift, mindset shift, you know, where I. I got into a space and it's like, wow, I. I'm real. I'm like the real deal now. I have an office with a key.
Right.
And I. Gosh, so many things. I. I opened some new lines, income streams. Right where I. That I had actually created at the Blosstaff. Event there. I created a signature formula when I was there that, you know, I had always seen people that were a level above where I was creating these, but I had never taken time to create one myself. And I didn't really think I had a methodology, but come to find out I did. Right, and you helped pull that out. And so then I went out and I went to my new office with my key and I started sharing about my new signature program that I had and people started buying it. And I charged, oh gosh, I want to say probably three times what I had previously charged to walk people through the same thing. I just didn't know I had a cute name for it.
Right.
And so I immediately started getting business at the Blast of Event. Actually, I met. There were two women I sat next to at my table at one point and we just totally hit it off. We're from different parts of the country and. And they actually both ended up being clients of mine. And we still talk all the time.
Right. So right there. So this is what happens all the time. So you, I mean, just from those clients like you just at the Blast off event, you more than paid back your investment to come to the event?
Oh, Yeah. I mean, 25 times.
Yeah. That's so cool. So that's cool. And so, and some other changes has happened. You've been out, you've been speaking, you've been doing different types of work. And so tell, tell a little bit about that.
So, wow, there are so many really exciting things that happened. I actually had gone, I think the year before I attended Blast Off, I had done four speaking engagements. And the year immediately following blastoff, I did 18. So I had a huge jump in the number of speaking engagements that I did. And perhaps the most exciting one was when instead of me knocking on doors trying to get booked, I had a company come to me and say, we would like you to come speak for us. But it wasn't just any company. It was a huge conference with 8,000 people on the opposite side of the United States from where I live. And they flew me out and they paid all my expenses and a really nice sum of money right, to speak. And I got to speak along this famous guy that has his own TV show. And it was just a huge transformation for me. Yeah, yeah, real big level up and just, you know, I'm working with higher level clients on bigger projects and. And I'm really super clear about what I'm doing, who I'm doing it for, when I'm doing it, where I'm doing it. I mean, I don't walk around fogged anymore.
Right.
You know exactly. I know exactly what we're doing. In fact, on the way here, my mom called me and she said, I have a great business idea for you with this craft book that you need to create and I think you should do, because my mom's like, a dreamer. And I said, thanks, mom. Cute idea, but I am laser focused and I'm on my way to Alison's right now, so I gotta stay on my path. And I learned that from you. I learned to just not chase all these rabbit trails. Just figure out what you're doing, who you're serving, and do it and do it really well.
You know, that's such a good point. I'm really glad that you shared that. And nothing against your mom and great that she thinks that way about you, but I know that business owners all the time are chasing the next thing, and if something isn't happening, like you panic and you run off to something else, or you're doing five different things at once, and then people don't really get what it is that you do. And so what we do at the event is we really help you get that clarity so that you know where you need to dive deeply and then how to. How to monetize that.
Yeah.
So, wow.
It changed my life. I mean, honestly, if you don't come, you're just being silly.
Really.
I mean, that's it, really. I almost feel choked up talking about it. It really has changed my life. And you mentioned earlier about, oh, I've got kids, it's too much to travel.
I.
All the reasons why people might not come. And all I can say for all of you mommies out there, I have four kids. It feels like I have 400, but I have four kids. If I can get away. You can get away.
Yeah. Yeah. And your revenue jumped up. How much this year?
It more than doubled.
Yeah, more than doubled.
106% to be exact.
Hey, lady. All right. That's what I want to be doing to you, is giving you a big hug and high fiving you. So. Wow. Well, thank you for sharing this. I mean, what a journey this has been for you.
It's been great.
Yeah. Yeah. I'm so excited. Well, give me a hug. All right. Thank you. And I'm going to be seeing you in a couple of weeks.
Yeah, I'll be there.
Yeah. So thank you so much. I mean, isn't she incredible? This is. I'm so, so proud of Stephanie. And that's Stephanie with Sizzle Force Marketing so you can look her up. All right, I have some more tips that I want to share with you, but this opportunity is going to be going away. Not only is the event almost sold out and it's in two weeks, but the live stream is going to be ending soon and you're not going to be able to get this ticket at half the price. And what a gift it really is. It costs us more to put on the event. And what we put together, I mean, this is just a piece of it, we spend hundreds of dollars on you so that you will have the most incredible experience and be loaded with what you need to go on and create so much success. So again, all you need to do is go to blastoffevent special.com all right, so, so let's see. So Judy, we're going to see you there. I'm super excited and yeah, I'm really so excited. And Melissa, we're going to see you there. And Wendy, can I talk contact you about your services? Of course. But come to the event. Come to blast off. I want the chance to work with you in person. Blastoffeventspecial.com all right, so I have a couple other quick things to say about this and I'm going to get into the tips and give away the Apple tv. First of all, a couple things I didn't even tell you and this is like the icing on the cake. We have some speakers at the event that are just to die for. Peter Diamandis. Look the guy up. He's incredible. He doesn't even do these kinds of talks. He's one of the most powerful business leaders of our time. He's the CEO of the X Prize, which is sending all those spaceships up to the moon over the last 10 years or so and works with Richard Branson. He has a New York Times best selling book, abundance and just came out with Bold. And he is so incredibly innovative. He's going to blow your mind. And, and when I heard Peter speak, I could not sleep all night long. My mind was going nuts with the ideas. And I've come up with these incredible new business ideas. From watching Peter speak, you're going to be blown away. Then Mike Koenigs, he's just probably the top Internet marketing specialist in the world. He did $9 million in one week. One week in a launch. $9 million. Okay. So if you want to learn and to take your business to the top, you want to surround yourself with the people that are the experts in the industry. We also Have Michael Bernoff. Michael. When I saw him speak, I was on the edge of my seat. He's amazing on persuasion and influence. He's speaking at the event. On top of all that, I'm teaching you and leaving with your blueprint. All right, you need a plan. And my question to you is, when are you going to give yourself permission to step into your potential? When are you going to give yourself permission to step into your potential? It's right here. It's waiting for you, and I want to help you get there. Let's do this together. You will be so happy. You will thank me for urging you to come. And there's no mistake that you're on this live stream tonight. So go to blastoffeventspecial.com. all right. Okay, so let me give you some incredible tips here. And then we're going to give away the Apple tv. So my rule of action. One of the most important components of business is decision making, right? Like I'm asking you, make a decision right now. And how many of you are procrastinators? How many of you are procrastinators? All right, Deborah, you're going to be there. Awesome. I am so excited to learn about your business. That sounds incredible. I just may need your services anyway. So how many of you are procrastinators or have trouble making decision? Or maybe you make a decision and you don't move on it. When you do that, your business is in a chokehold, okay? And so it's better to make a decision. Even if it's the wrong decision, it's better to just make the decision because that's going to lead you to the next best thing. So I call this action in the moment, right? That means within five seconds that you make the decision. All right? Send the email, make the phone call, send the letter. Show up. Okay? Do it right. Then when we make decisions as a company, it's like, okay, let's get on there. Let's do it right now. And so that's how we grow so quickly, is that we are making decisions and moving forward. It's that momentum that we're creating. Because remember, you are the CEO of your business and your life, all right? And you're working so hard every day, and you're helping so many people in whatever you do, whether it's helping people with their feet or if you're beautifying their garden. I was thinking of the people on here. You're doing event planning. You're helping people have a better life, right? Is that true? Of course it is. And one of the reasons that you're called to do what you do, but the truth is, is that you're not a helper, okay? You're a business leader. You are a leader. Otherwise you wouldn't be here without with me today. So step up and own that space as the leader and the visionary that you are. Step into that power of your own and your own self worth and own that. And when you do that and you ask for what you're worth and you draw the line on what's important to you, and you step into those opportunities and you hold your head up high, you attract the people that get you, love you, value you, want to hire you, all of those things. Isn't it time for that? Isn't it time for you to step into your power, into your CEO ness? Okay, That's a new phrase I've come up with. You are the CEO of your life. I also want you to know that there is unlimited wealth out there. You may not be feeling it, you may not be seeing it, but the truth is it's out there. It's right there for you to draw in. But you've got to see it internally first. You know, one of the things Stephanie talked about is at the Blast off event, we do work on mindset also. On top of all of the real tangible strategies. And if you say to me, oh, I don't need any mindset work, let me say to you, are you a billionaire? Because everyone needs mindset work. I need mindset work. Business is 90% strategy. Maybe 95. I mean, I'm sorry, 90% mindset, 10% strategy. Because if you don't have the mindset behind it, you're not going to move forward with the strategy. You're not going to stay with it. Right? You might do it for a little while, but you won't stay with it. So you have to understand, you may not believe it right now, but it's the gift of seeing what isn't. This is what successful business owners do. They're able to see what is not there so that they can claim it for themselves. Because if you know that that wealth is sitting there, you're going to keep working towards that, right? It is there. And if you stick with your dreams and you move towards them as every single day, and you give yourself the opportunities, like coming to this event and surrounding yourself with the people that can help you, then you will be in a completely different place financially. Look at what Stephanie's been able to do her whole life's changed from for speaking engagements to 18, getting paid thousands of dollars for the speaking engagement and taking on a higher level clients. 106% increase. If she had not given herself the opportunity and stepped into that, none of this would have happened. Maybe it would have happened within the next 10 years. So would you rather happen in like, you know, a few months, or do you want to wait years or maybe never? And I don't mean to be mean, but as a. As your coach here, I'm basically being direct because I have to call you on this stuff. It's true. True. Right. Just how my. My coach calls me on that stuff, too. There's an unlimited amount of wealth out there waiting for you to step in it and own it. Whatever your beliefs are around money, we need to shift that because you've got to feel like a millionaire to be a millionaire. Okay, and again, Blast off event, Special dot com. Right? Okay, I have another tip to share, but before I do, let's give away this Apple tv. Do you guys want it? All right, let's see here. So I can get my question. All right, so who wants the Apple tv? All right, this is what I'm going to do. So I'm going to be looking at the chat here. And so you guys are just chatting amongst yourself here. So, Peter, you were asking what's the best strategy to get a business ramped up if you have a very limited amount of money to spend? I definitely think your Blast off event is worth attending. Let me. I just want to back up a little bit because I want you to know I was a single mom for 12 years. When I started out, I had zero money. I was taking my purses. If you're a woman, I was like, dumping them to find change. Okay. And I knew that I did not want to stay in that circumstance. And so I didn't have the resources. I didn't have anyone giving me money. I have never. I have. Everything that I've made, I've built on my own. Of course, with my incredible team here, we do this together. But I started on my own. I had nobody helping me, no investors whatsoever. And I just knew that I had to do whatever it took to get my business to grow. And so, you know, I got a coach and I went and I surrounded myself with people like, at this event, that's what you need to do, Peter. You need to do whatever you can. And for me, it was thank youk Visa that helped me during that time. And I knew I was like, I'm investing in myself. You Know if I'm gonna invest in anything, I'm gonna invest it in me because I'm the one that's gonna make this happen. So that would be the smartest thing for you to do, Peter. All right, get your butt to San Diego. All right. Blastoffeventspecial.com let's give this away. So here's the question. The first person that answers this and there's a little delay from the time I say this and into the chat. So the first person that says this is going to win the Apple tv. All right, so my question to you, you ready? This is so fun. In the movie Joy, the main character played by Jennifer Lawrence is the story of the woman Joy Mangano. Okay? And it's a true story and it's a great movie if you haven't seen it. And she go talk about rags to riches. This woman had like, you know, owed like $500,000, was going bankrupt and her family was a total mess. But she created and launched a prod product that was beginning of her multi million dollar empire. What was the thing that she, what was her invention that she. That that started her whole career? And we already have a winner. You said it before I even gave the question. Deborah, let's see you get the. Deborah, guess what? You get the Apple tv. Woo hoo, sharp lady. I mean, what did you see the movie? Wasn't that so inspiring? I mean when people say I can't do it because of my circumstances, go see this freaking movie because let me tell you, she had her whole family who were mooching off of her and making her life miserable. And seriously, just, I mean, someone taking her Patton, I mean it was just, the pressure was insane and she didn't give up and that's the type of resilience it takes. And Deborah, you know, that's very sweet what you said. You're a single mom, you have a 15 year old and you're moving heaven and earth to be here. Let me tell you. I mean my daughter, I'm so excited. She's 27 now, she's coming to the event. Is that cool? She's like, mom, I really want to come. So I'm like, okay, you can come. And so thank you for that because I know what it's like, it's not easy. But you know what, here's the thing. You are an inspiration for your 15 year old. And what do you, I mean, why do we do this? I mean, yeah, we want to buy our kids stuff and make a better life for them, but really, they follow our actions. So be who you want them to see you, you know, be in the world. Right. So congratulations. This is cool. So not only are you going to come to Blast off, but you get to watch whatever you watch. You can probably watch the movie Joy now you're going to love that movie even more. So why don't we do this? Debra, why don't you email us at supportyblastoff.com support my blast off.com, my b l a s t.com and oh, you've seen the trailer. You got to see the movie, Deborah. Anyway, give us your address and we will send this to you tomorrow. Congratulations. I'm excited for you. All right. Woohoo. And Judy, you're so awesome. You're always here like motivating people. I love it. So let's see. Congrats. Congrats. Yes. Support at My Blast Off. If any else has questions too, you can always email us@supportyblastoff.com I think I have another tip here for you as well. This is so fun. All right, so my final tip for you tonight. Thank you for being with us tonight. When this live stream's over, the opportunity is over as well. So we don't want you to miss it. Go to blastoffeventspecial.com if you're sitting there on the edge of your seat and you're going, should I or shouldn't I? Should I or shouldn't I? Sitting on the fence. You know what it gets you? It gets you your butt scratched up from sitting on the fence. That's pretty much all that it gets. All right? It's not going to get you anything, you know, Come with me and my team, we're going to take great care of you. You're going to have the experience of a lifetime and we're going to turn your business around. If you're a business owner and you're serious about success, then get serious now. Make this decision. You're worth it. Aren't you worth it? Of course you're worth it. So this tip is, has really helped me to catapult all of my businesses because this is how I think, all right? I think about, where do I want to be in the world? And I say, well, if I was there now, like think about for a second, where do you want to be a year from now? Close your eyes. Unless you're driving, don't close your eyes and hold in your mind what's the most beautiful goal that you could possibly have? Alright, now triple that goal. Triple that. What would that look like now? If you were there right now already, what would you be doing in your life? What kind of decisions would you make? Would you make to just jump into the possibilities? Right. Or would you play small and say, well, I can't do because of this and because of this? No. So make decisions from where you're going, not from where you're at. Right. If you make decisions of where you're at, guess where you're going to be where you're at. Nothing is going to change. Right. I am here. You're here tonight because you're wanting to get to the next level. That's why you're here. And I want to help you do that. Make decisions from where you're going, not from where you're at. Quickly right now, because we're about to go off the air. Go to Blast off event special dot com. Come work with me. Live in San Diego. It's the coolest place to be. La Jolla is absolutely gorgeous. Bring a friend, bring a spouse, bring your business partner to be able to plan your year together. You know what happens when you take three days to plan your life? Your life changes. When do you ever get that opportunity? Like, never? I'm giving that opportunity to you today. Blastopevent special.com. all right. And it's going away in, like, five seconds, right? So five, four, three, two. Hey, everybody. Thank you for spending the time with me tonight. This was such a so great. Until next time, elevate yourself and step into your greatness. You're absolutely worth it. Bye, everybody.
