ALLISON MASLAN: My Daily Routine as an Entrepreneur

This is a YouTube video titled "ALLISON MASLAN: My Daily Routine as an Entrepreneur" containing a monologue by Allison Maslan recorded in December 2016. In this content, Allison shares a personal anecdote about a persistent fly and transitions into motivational advice for entrepreneurs, emphasizing positivity, progress, and the opportunities available in entrepreneurship today.
There's no modesty in whatsoever. Blooper. It's just, you know, it's the hair, it's the microphone. It's like, you know, content, whatever. It's all about those little details. I'm not really a fan of bugs or anything, but. So the other day, I was at my house in my bedroom where I write, and I'm on the computer, and this fly just kept coming and landing on my computer. And, you know, I was just like, go, get away, get away. Just kept coming and just sitting on my damn computer and would not go away. And so, you know, I'm just trying to work and not pay attention. Then I'm in the bathroom, there's that freaking fly. And so it kind of gets on the edge of the sink. And I thought, okay, I'm just gonna turn on the water. And, you know, I know. I know all of you. I swear, I'm not a kid. Really good person. Anyway, this fly goes, like, down the drain and then starts coming up the drain, and I'm like, oh, my God, this is a persistent little guy. And then I thought, well, you know, if he's fighting that hard for his life, let the poor fly live, okay? So then I'm thinking, that's the end of that story. You know, how long is this fly gonna be bothering me? That night I go in the room and there's this dang fl still coming to me on my computer. And then I started getting really weird and esoteric and thinking, I wonder if this is someone from a past life and they're coming back as a fly and they're really trying to communicate to me. Then I start thinking, who do I know that would be trying to think? I mean, I just really got out there. I think I really needed to sleep. I wasn't on alcohol or anything, but, oh, my God, this fly. I've never seen something. So I had to actually say, being in business, I was really impressed. I think he was like a master fly. There we go. That was it. That's my fly. And either to the mid range or right up to the top. So you want to have an offering at all of those levels, it can still be to the same general niche market. Now, if you'll see here at the top, you've got your free opt in. So the reason that it's free is that if you can take a little bit of the wisdom that you have, you have a lot of wisdom because you've been doing whatever that you're doing for a long time. So you're an expert, but you guys have accomplished a lot this year. I mean, think about it. You don't give yourself credit. Make a list of all the things you've accomplished. And I don't just mean money. I'm talking about what have you completed. Many of you have gotten clarity. It's probably the most you've ever worked on yourself and focused on your business. Grow the creativity, you know, learning how to have a sales conversation, being more intent, the social media that you're doing. Some of you have written books and gotten even bestseller status in your book. So you've got to give yourself credit for what you have accomplished. And our life is what we're living right now because we have many, many months left of the year. And it's like when you're running a race you don't want to run and then slow down, right? Finish line. You know, professional runners, they're trained to run through the finish line just at the same pace. And make sure that you're really focusing on some positive things. Because, yes, there's been some really tough, challenging things going on. But let me tell you, there are miracles happening every single day. Every single day. I mean, there's people recovering from illnesses, people reaching major accomplishments. There are families reuniting. There are inventing and entrepreneurs that are changing the world like you. Let's focus on that, okay? So for positive, supportive thoughts, we need to be putting that positive, supportive input to create those abundant thoughts, okay? We all need hope and possibility, hope and possibility because that's what, that's what gets you moving forward, right? And for us all to stick into the woe is me, that's not going to serve anybody. It's all about progress and moving forward and getting out in the world and creating. And this is the most opportune time to be an entrepreneur. It's one of the best times to be an entrepreneur because used to be in early times, like the dark ages, when I was younger, people looked at you funny like, you know, and they still do look at entrepreneurs this way, but you see more and more people that are moving towards that freedom of being entrepreneur.
