I am the anti-cold plunge, 5 AM, get out of bed and go running morning routine. And I've gone on to build several successful companies. I'm not a morning person, and I fought that for years thinking there was something wrong with me. But then over time, I realized that that's just my rhythm and to embrace my rhythm. I'm more of a night owl. As long as I'm getting that at least 8 hours of sleep, but I allow myself plenty of time in the morning. My team knows no early meetings unless I am leading events. And so I'm able to wake up when my body says it's time to wake up, and then I give myself a couple of hours to do my, what I call, vision crafting. What's most important, I feel, is that state that you start your day in. If you start your day and you're going to go for a run or you're going to go cold plunge, but you're obsessing about what didn't work yesterday, then I don't care what shape that you're in, you're gonna just attract more things and challenges at that same negative space.
