One of the biggest mistakes that business owners make is that you don't give yourself enough space to download the brilliant ideas that are going to give you the big leaps in your business. You step into your day and you're just crossing off one to do after another. And yeah, you might feel like you're being productive, but are those things giving you incremental growth or are they giving you the big, big leaps that are going to take your business forward in a big way? Those come from the big ideas that you allow to downlo to your brain, coming from inspiration and imagination. But there's no room for that inspiration and imagination to drop down because you're so busy pounding away at the keys or running tasks here and there. And so give yourself space, mark out time in your calendar, a half day, go for a walk, go in nature, whatever it is you need to do where you are not focused on anything that needs to get done. All you're doing is allowing your mind to wander so you can come up with the big ideas that will solve a lot of the minutia that you're dealing with right now.
