This is a YouTube video titled "Here’s why these excuses will stop you from scaling" containing a motivational talk by Allison Maslan recorded in September 2024. Allison discusses how negative stories and excuses about external factors like the economy or election year can limit business success by shaping one’s mindset.

If there's stories coming up in your head like, oh, it's election year, business is going to be tough. Oh, the economy, business is tough. Oh, my industry. The second you do that, you're cutting your throat because it's just a story. And once you make up that story, that's all you're going to see. Then you're going to say, see, my story was right. But the second you start rumbling, you talk. Yeah, they said it's bad as that. You fall into that, then you are going to struggle.
