Missy Kelly started Gripshin, a non-slip tape, to fix her husband's slippery phone. Seven years later, mentorship through the Pinnacle program helped her land deals with Home Depot, Lowe's, Amazon, SpaceX, and the U.S. Air Force, which uses it on F-35 and F-16 aircraft.
I am with Missy Kelly.
Missy came to us when their company was an idea, basically.
Yeah. Amazing what she's doing. And I wanted just to share— you shared some exciting things with me of what you're doing in the Air Force industry.
When I first came to Pinnacle, our product was a phone grip, basically a solution to my husband's slippery phone. And with the help of the mentors and Allison through Pinnacle, over 7 years, we grew from a channel of wholesale retail and created a product called Gripshin. It's a non-abrasive, non-slip tape product that is now sold in Lowe's, Ace, Do It Best, Home Depot. Amazon is a client, SpaceX, Blue Origin, and now being used by the Air Force as a process path for maintenance on their F-35s and F-16s.
Isn't that amazing? I love celebrating women business owners that are absolutely rocking it. She is a force to be reckoned with. Like this I learned from the best. Well, I'm telling you, you're out there and you're making it happen. So proud of you.
