How this CEO Went From Totally Broke to Owning 10 Multimillion Dollar Companies

Allison Maslan talks about building ten multimillion-dollar companies from broke. She started with a homeopathic practice and coaching businesses, and discusses what kept her momentum going through the growth.
So, Alison Maslem, thank you so much for coming and talking to me today.
Thanks for having me, Michelle. I'm excited to be here.
Good. I met you last summer and you became my life coach. And we worked together for about six months and you really were a huge part of me creating my own business, Focus up now, and my inspired Momentum Workshop series.
So glad.
Yeah, it was a big accomplishment.
That's amazing. Thank you.
And the whole time I was working with you, I was absolutely fascinated by you. And so this is sort of a long standing fantasy of mine to be able to just ask you about you and really find out what makes you tick and what has propelled you into success. The way that I've witnessed you being successful. I watched you when I first met you. You had your now to wow coaching business, which while I was working with you, became blast off, which was an even bigger, better, badder version of what you were already doing. And so you have the blast off life coaching business. And then you created the Blast Station, which is this remarkable interactive web based tool that's part of that whole program. And it is so amazing. It's absolutely fresh. I don't think I've seen anything like it in the marketplace. And I know you were the total inventor of that. And then you're also, you've had a long standing homeopathic business. You've been a homeopath and you've been in business, I think since 95 in that particular business.
Homeopathic Wellness center. Yes.
And I think you had a well established clientele in the local area. And then I understand you also were the founder of the Homeopathic Academy of Southern California, where you created an education curriculum for people to learn how to become homeopaths.
Yes.
And in addition to all of your other entrepreneurial businesses that you started up when you were younger, and I think you were young, Mom. You were, you have. How old is your daughter now?
Oh my gosh. She's turning 21 next month. Yes.
So you were young and I think a single mom for some of that time.
Quite a time. Yes.
And you had, you started a successful advertising and public relations agency. You started the Dive Pro San Diego, a private scuba diving certification program. You had a full service hair salon. Some of these businesses are actually still thriving.
Yes, most of them are.
Most of them are. And you're a successful real estate investor and you have worldwide recognition in many of these fields and practices. So who wouldn't want to interview you?
I've been a busy girl.
I've been a busy girl. And you've met your soulmate and you're married.
Yes.
So part of what amazes me so much about you is all that you've been able to achieve, not only in business, what appears to be a full rich life. You know, it's not just that you're successful. I forgot to mention that you also moved your offices over to a fabulous new spot in Encinitas and it's several private offices and a beautiful lobby and lovely decoration. Thank you.
Yeah.
So all that happened in the six months that I was was coaching with you. So you were operating a full time business and building a new business and creating a new place to be in. So I just have so many questions for you about what it is that really creates your inspired momentum to the degree that you have it. Because that's a topic that fascinates me now in my own work, you know, as I teach people about how to create inspired momentum and you're just the perfect role model for.
Well, thank you. I'm happy to share Sa.
