This is a YouTube video titled "How to Get Unstuck (Even When Things Are Really Bad)" containing a motivational talk or interview from June 4, 2009. The content features a dialogue between two speakers discussing strategies for overcoming feelings of stagnation and despair by shifting focus to gratitude, inspiration, and childhood passions. The speakers provide advice on changing mindset and creating a vision for the future to help people move forward.
So your advice for people who are maybe on their butt side right now of the opportunity, you know, they're on their butt thinking, it just seems like nothing's really happening for me, and I can't create. Your advice to them is watch what you're thinking and watch what you're focusing on and continue to focus on what you want and what you'd like to create.
I mean, well, even more so, I think that sometimes it's hard to just switch your mood like that when you're feeling really miserable. And hey, I've had my days, I've had my times in my life. But if you can, first try to get to a place of gratitude for the things that you do have. I mean, number one, if you've got your health, that's huge. Because. Because if you're. And I know in being a homeopathic physician for many years, when people struggle with their health, it's hard to create anything when you don't feel well. And so really looking at the things that you have, if you have a good relationship, if you do have a home to live in, or if you have hobbies that you enjoy, or if you have friends that you love being around, put your attention to that first.
And how does that serve them?
Because that starts changing your vibration and helps you to start shifting out of that what I don't have and what is wrong to what is good. And once you do that, you can be at a more balanced place, and then you can start creating a vision of what you do want from that place. It's hard to create that vision when you're so low. So being at this place where you're feeling, you know, feeling some joy, you know, whether it's your pet or whether it's your child, you know, get to that place. And then what I have people do and what I worked with you on is helping people tap into things that inspire them. And it's hard to get to that place sometimes. It feels buried.
And.
And often when people come to me, they know they want something more, but they don't know what it is. So I take them through a process to help them get in touch with that inspiration. And one of the things I have them do is just write out all the things they loved doing as a child. Because when you come from that childhood innocence, you're not thinking about lack, you're not thinking about paying the bills. You just do what you love and what comes naturally, and so that starts opening up a door.
