"It's The Best Thing I've Done for My Business in 10 Years" (Pinnacle Global Network)

Deb Cantrell, owner of Savor Culinary Services, tripled her business in six months after joining Allison Maslan's Blueprint and Pinnacle programs. She credits three strategies: a website with Google AdWords, consistent networking, and public speaking where she hands out her signature Godiva chocolate liqueur brownies.
Hi, guys, it's Deb Cantrell. I own Savor Culinary Services. In my company, what we do is we provide food as well as education to people that want to eat healthier or have some type of special dietary needs. What we try to do is we try to give them control back over their health, which gives them control back over their lives. In this video, we're going to talk about three things. Three of the most effective ways that I found that I can market my business and I can also get return clients. I want to tell you right off the bat, the biggest thing that I have done for my business over the past 10 years is finding Alison. I spent the weekend with her during her Blueprint weekend when I met her for the first time after an E. Women Network event where she came to speak. And that one weekend fundamentally changed my business. I went back and was able to put an entire structure in place that I had not had in 10 years. What that did is that gave me the ability to triple my business once I joined the Pinnacle program within six months. I was able to measurably triple my business within those six months. The three things that I want to talk to you about is, number one, you have to have an amazing website. But how to implement that is you need to find a really good website person that allows you to make changes to your website. But the bigger part of having a website I found in my business is Google AdWords. The majority of my clients, probably about 75% of my clients come from Google. So I put the majority of my marketing money into Google. You can use Google Analytics, all kinds of different things to help you with your website, Facebook. The second thing that I do is networking. Networking is huge for my business. I tell my students all the time that if you do not get out in the community, if people don't recognize you, they're not going to remember you. How to implement that. Find any networking group that you can find. I'm a member of Ewomen, as I mentioned, but there's a ton of networking groups out there. How to implement that go consistently. If you are not consistent there, they will not remember you. Stay very involved in it. The third thing that I do that I have found that has been huge in my business is public speaking. Every time I speak publicly to different women's groups, different events, different anyone that actually finds me is, I try very hard to make the speech appropriate, whether it's to that particular group, whether it's a women's group where I talk about your bottom line, which is not only how food affects you, how food affects your health, but it also affects, financially, your bottom line. But there's one thing that I always bring with me whenever I show up, and that's my Godiva chocolate liqueur brownies. And I can tell. I can almost hear the oohs and ahhs right now whenever I mention those, because, as everybody knows, chocolate just makes you feel good. But if you can put something in their mouths like that, hand them a business card at the same time, that's going to make a much bigger impact. And thanks to Allison's hard work, you guys actually get to try them now.
