Jeff Bezos used to say when people would congratulate him on a great quarter, his investors, he'd say, wow, that was baked three years ago. Your team is focused on today. You are focused on the future. Y' all love our businesses, but when I'm away, my focus is, where are we going? Where are we three years out? And at this point now, you have a company that's worth a lot more money. You could sell it, bring in a CEO, move to the chairman of the board, pass it to your kids. You have options. Start another business, whatever it is you want to do. But you are not in the day to day of your business anymore.
