Staying in your lane is how you stay at 7 figures forever. The advice is everywhere. Pick one thing, master it, do not diversify until you dominate it. And that's solid advice if your company's generating about $500K in revenue, but it's terrible advice for a 7 or 8-figure company. And the CEOs who do break past their plateau do not stay in one lane. They build scalable models that create recurring revenue. Let's take H&R Block, for example. They do taxes, but they have scaled up, down, and all all around. They have low-cost, high-end premium, do-it-yourself models or we'll do it for you, digital or brick-and-mortar, membership subscription or one-and-done, all taxes. They stay aligned with their brand, but they have many avenues to scale. They have an ecosystem. Diversification is the name of the game.
