This is a YouTube video titled "Strategic Vision For Business Leaders" featuring Allison Maslan delivering a monologue on the importance of having a clear strategic vision in business. Recorded in June 2022, Allison explains how a CEO should communicate and embody the company's vision to align and motivate the team, emphasizing the vision as the guiding 'North Star' and the key to overcoming challenges and maintaining high energy within the organization.
Foreign. I'm back with another scale tip from our proprietary method, the Scale IT method. And I want to talk to you about the S in scale. The Scale IT method is strategic vision. Now, I know you know the importance of having a clear vision. It is your, your GPS of your business so you know where you're going. But it's also important that your team can recite this vision because if it's just in your head, then and you're the only one carrying it around, that's what creates the overwhelm. So you kind of have to take a vacuum to your brain, pull that out and so that you can clearly explain the vision to the team, get the team on board with the vision and then have them carry it forward. And here's the other piece to strategic vision is that wherever it is that you want the company to go or what is the North Star for your business? And also your why, like the driver of that vision. You should be talking about this ad nauseam like before. You know, at every meeting, when you open up a meeting, get everybody geared and excited, excited about the vision. If you're having a challenge and you've got some people, some negativity maybe coming up during a meeting or something that's going on, bring them back to the vision and the why. I talk about the vision with our company just about every single day. As a CEO, your job is to raise the vibe of your tribe and to do that is to get them out of the minutia and focus on the bigger picture and that's what's going to get everybody excited and the energy behind the vision to move it forward.
