This is a YouTube video titled "Strategic Vision - The SCALEit METHOD®" featuring Allison Maslan delivering a monologue on the importance of maintaining a strategic vision in business growth. Recorded in April 2022, Allison shares practical advice on reconnecting with one's business vision regularly to inspire and align the team, emphasizing creativity and long-term planning.
So I have another scale tip for you based on the scale it method that we talked about in the last episode. The anacronym for scale. The S in scale is for strategic vision. And that's where everything starts. But when you started your business, you probably had a different vision than you may have now as your business has evolved and as it's grown. Einstein said that imagination is the preview of what is to come. And I love that because as a business owner, you are a visionary and you get to tap into that creativity and your vision can be as big as you want it to be. But we get so mired in the day to day and the to do lists and fires and different things that go on in the business that sometimes we get pulled away from the vision. So it's important to take time during your week to reconnect with that vision as much as you can. One thing that I do is I actually mark out two times during my week on a Thursday and a Sunday, where I call my thinking time and I actually have a journal and a pen and I am thinking about the vision and where are we going with the company and reconnecting with my why. And by doing that, I stay connected to it. Then I can continually communicate that with my team to raise their vibe up, connect them with the vision, make sure the whole company based on the direction that we're going and the decisions that we make are always connected to that big picture and that strategic vision. So hopefully this helps you take some time, get into your imagination and take your big strategic vision as far as you want to go.
