Allison Maslan and others discuss how to find strength when motivation fades and others doubt you. They share personal stories about pushing through hard moments and staying determined despite negativity.
There are some times that you have that moment where you feel motivated, you feel hyped up. Then three weeks later, you have that one day where it just all comes crashing down. It's difficult to get that energy. Where does that end?
We've been there.
80% of the time, I'm focused on the bright, but 20% of the time, things get really hard. And in that moment, I shift into, like, the dark side. And you channel aggression and ferocity. Like, in those moments, I am playing to win. That's where you go if you need that quick win that quick fix. And then the under understanding that, but it doesn't sustain. In your darkest of dark hours, it's gonna be like really just grabbing yourself by the guts and saying you're not giving up. And then you think about the people that want you to fail and refuse to let them to be right.
I remember in the early days when I had a lot of people saying I was gonna fail, and I there was a little bit of, well, I'm gonna show you kind of thing, but it actually worked.
