Every consultant on your feed is selling you some sort of system. Now, they're not wrong because systems do matter, but what they're wrong about is systems do not scale companies. They scale the leaders that are running them. So if you drop the best SOP in the world on a team that doesn't have a leader at the helm of it, nothing fricking moves. And if you drop a mediocre SOP on a strong leader, it gets improved within a week and then it moves the entire department. So the mistake that most CEOs make is implementing more more systems in place of developing more leaders, and then they wonder why nothing is changing. Stop buying the next tool and start asking which seat on your team is missing a real leader. Save this and follow me for more CEO scaling strategies.
