What It Really Takes to Scale Your Business

Allison Maslan talks about scaling a business without burning out, drawing on her own entrepreneurial journey. She covers leadership, innovation, and financial clarity as the foundations for sustainable growth and profitability.
Hi, it's Alyson Maslin, and I'm coming to you from my office in San Diego, California, and I want to share with you some important business advice that you can use immediately in your business today. But first, let me ask you, do you feel maxed out in the work that you're doing in your own company? Do you have dreams of cloning yourself or adding one or two days into the week? I know exactly what that's like. And let me tell you, earlier on in my entrepreneurial career, I completely maxed out. I was running from client to client. I was trying to handle everything myself because I felt like nobody could do it better than me. And I really didn't have a plan. I was kind of flying by the seat of my pants. And I was successful. But there was a point where I could only see so many clients and do so much during the day, and I completely burned out and to the point where I didn't even like who I was anymore. I felt completely disconnected from my life, my passions. You know, life was pretty much meaningless for me at that point. And I don't know if any of you can relate to this right now in your life, but that was a big wake up call and turning point for me because I thought, gosh, if I'm not having fun, if I'm not passionate about what I'm doing, and if I'm not uber successful at it, really, what is the point? So I went on and developed at that point in my life a blueprint that was going to ensure that I was running my business, leading my company to be in the millionaire status, rather than working in my business and spending spinning day to day. And since then, I've built many more companies and have earned millions and millions of dollars from following this exact strategy. Now, some of the things that I do on a daily basis are really tapping into my innovation so that I can make sure that my companies stand out from the crowd. What makes me different. And so it's important to always connect with that creativity inside of you. And I assure you, you have that. It's so easy to kind of get into a rut and do the same thing over and over. The other thing that you need to do is always hone. I call it the mojo. That's what makes you a leader, so that you literally walk into a place as if you own it, right? And so you draw people to you. You are a leader. Don't forget that. And then you've got to create a strategy. You've got to get clear on your vision, you've got to break it down and you need to work that map on a daily basis. And why this is important is not only to stay directed, but also to make decisions on are the opportunities coming to you? Are they leading to you, to your big picture vision really where you want to take your company? Because you've got to be able to make decisions like this on the spot all day long as a leader and you want to make sure that they are the right decisions. You want to make sure you have your mechanics in place, your logistics, your foundation that keeps you rooted so that your business grows and stands the test of time. Instead of one of these fly by night businesses that you see are coming and going all the time. That's not what you want. Sure. And then we've got to get clear on the money. You are in business to do what you love, to share your passions in the world, to make a difference. But you've got to be a highly profitable business or you're not going to stay in business. You're not going to be able to make an impact as you desire. So you've got to look at your roi, your return on investment on a daily basis. You've got to look at at those numbers. So I know I've thrown a lot at you, but all of these things are crucial if you want to be a millionaire CEO so you can design your destiny and make that dent in the universe. Join me on Thursday, June 28 for a very special event, my free call, which is six steps to design your destiny and become the millionaire CEO that you've dreamt of being. Register below.
