Allison Maslan walks through her morning routine: vision crafting by closing her eyes and imagining her future company, specific gratitude journaling to rewire her brain, writing daily intentions for how she'll show up, and moving her body to shift her mental state. She argues these aren't wellness habits but strategic leadership choices that set the emotional frequency for her entire team.

This is what my morning actually looks like when I'm not on stage or leading my team. And honestly, it matters more to me than any strategy I could teach you. I start with what I call my vision crafting. It's not my to-do list. It's not my calendar. It's my vision. And I close my eyes and I see the company I'm building, the life I'm creating, and I let myself feel it like I'm already there. And I stay there long enough for my whole body to settle into that frequency before before the noise of the day has a chance to pull me somewhere else. And then I grab my journal and I write what I'm grateful for, not in a general way, but very specific because gratitude is not just a nice habit. It literally rewires how your brain approaches everything that comes next. Then I write my intentions from the day. Who do I wanna be today? How do I wanna show up for my team, my clients, and the people that I love? And what energy am I walking in with before I even open my computer? And then I move my body every single day, not to hit a number to get on the scale or punish myself for last night's dinner, but because movement changes my state. It clears the mental noise and it reminds me that I'm strong before the day has had a chance to tell me otherwise. How you start your morning is not a wellness preference. It's a leadership decision. The state you're in by the time your team sees you is a state your whole company is feeling. You're not just managing your morning, you're managing your frequency and your frequency is contagious. So tell me, what does your morning actually look like right now? Drop it in the comments.
