Hey, friends, welcome to another episode of no Bullshit Business Tips. We're here to teach you actionable, short takeaway, bite sized chunks of of things that you can do today, right now, to grow the studio of your dreams.
Absolutely. Now, I think sometimes we get scared to ask people to review us or to do a testimonial or things like that because we get embarrassed about it. But it's so important to do it and it's such a game changer. And I don't know about you, but I'm big on reviews. When I go to something or someone or anything, I always check the reviews before I opt into them. Are you like that?
I. Absolutely, absolutely. Because it's that social proof that we all want, right? So it's important to make sure that your studio's Google reviews, Facebook reviews are all up to date and looking fantastic. So what are some great ways that we can ask our clients for it? Because that's the key, right? We have to ask.
We do have to ask. And look, I always do this as a once a year thing and we have the business awards once a year as well. So I always try and kind of do it before those business award entries go in. And we say, hey guys, we'd love you to give us a goofy Google review or a Facebook review, our best one. We're going to give a $200 uniform voucher to. Now I know not everyone can afford that necessarily, but it's such a game changer. The amount of people that then give us reviews is crazy. And you know, they're beautiful and amazing and then we've got a heap of new reviews on our.
I love that. I really like asking for them after the concert as well, like the day after the concert, you know, because when people are on a high, they've loved what you've done or, you know, whether it's, you know, after an event, when people are like really feeling the love towards you, I think that's their absolute prime time. And be honest with people. Hey, we're a small business and we're trying to grow our business. You know, as a small business, we rely on Google reviews. So it would mean the world to us if you would leave us a review you know, a competition's a great way to do it. But also, just don't be afraid to ask.
Yeah, absolutely. And if you see one of your parents, maybe write something nice about your studio or they write you a nice email, always, like, go back to them and say, hey, thanks so much. Would you mind writing this as a Google review? Don't be scared to ask that stuff. I think that sometimes we get scared, but we don't need to.
No, absolutely not. One of our clients has a great idea, one of our members of Studio Growth Club, and he puts it on the desk, on the front desk. And whilst people are waiting for their uniform purchase, he asks them why the child. That's always their process. While the child's trying on the uniform in the changing rooms or whatever that is. He's like, hey, why? I've got you. Would you mind, you know, scan this QR code and leave us a review while you're waiting? I actually think you might give them like a $5 off the uniform if they do it or something like that, which is a great idea as well, because, yeah, they're about to do, like, it makes sense. Right. So it's a great way just to ask for it.
Yep. So don't be scared to ask. Take action on this. You could even, like, do an email right now to all of your parents saying, hey, guys, we'd love to get some Google reviews. Here's the link. Like, that is going to take you less than a minute to write. And even if you get three reviews, it's totally worth it.
Absolutely. Whilst we're talking about asking for reviews, it would mean the world to us if you'd leave us a review.
If you love.
I just thought we might throw that in. Why would I? But, you know, we just talked about it, so if you love what we're doing here, it would mean the world to us if you'd leave us a review. You can subscribe to our shows on Apple and Spotify on the podcast and leave a review because it would mean the world to us, too.
Amazing. Make sure you guys take action on this. Let's do this shit.
