Hey, friends. Welcome back to another episode of no Bullshit business Tips.
We're excited today to talk to you about doing a Facebook event for your concert.
Absolutely. Now, I know this doesn't sound groundbreaking, but a lot of us have forgotten about Facebook events. You know, it used to be a big thing, and then we kind of just forgot about it. But it's making an absolute comeback.
Right. I'm definitely one of those people. Amanda. And I just said to Amanda, I. I have not done a Facebook event for my concert this year, but I'm excited to hear about it, and I can definitely action it now.
Absolutely. You know, it's such an easy, actionable thing. So if you haven't done it, now is the time to do it. Facebook is totally rewarding people for using Facebook events. The algorithm is bringing it back up, and everyone can see it. So if you need to sell more tickets to your concert, make sure you're running a Facebook event for it.
I love this. So what sort of things would you post in there? Like, what sort of advice would you give me to post and what would I invite all my families to come first? How would you do it?
Absolutely. You know, it's super easy. Invite everyone, post it on your pages, do all the things, and then keep updates in there as well. You know, reminders about ticket sales, where you're at, all of those things. You know, it just really helps grow awareness. Not just about your concert. The whole point isn't really about the concert because, yes, your parents are coming to the concert, like, that's gonna happen, but it's about other people seeing us at that time of the year. Right. Because that's the whole point. We want, you know, little Suzie's mum to press going, and little Suzie's friend from school notice that. Oh, she dances at that studio. When the enrollment information comes around, you know, it's getting your name out there because we know that people follow friends. Right.
I love it. I love it. And I'm, like, thinking of different things I could put on there now. Like, you could do little costume reveals.
Absolutely.
You know, you could do, like, tiny little snippets of routines, like create a bit of FOMO in and around that. Absolutely.
Absolutely.
We're doing, like, a Barbie theme. I think everyone's doing Barbie theme this year. You've got to be real. But, like, we've got the Barbie boxes in the other day, so, you know, having some cute little pics with that.
Absolutely. There's so many things you can do, and it just really is that social proof that parents often need. Right. Social proof to know that, oh, look at all those people going to that dance concert. All those people in my community must love that studio. So maybe that's a studio for me next year.
Well, I absolutely love this as an idea. I think it's super actionable, and I think you guys could do it really quickly. It's definitely not too late to do it.
No, definitely.
So I think you guys should set it up right now and hopefully sell heaps and heaps of tickets.
Absolutely. So if you haven't already, right now, jump on, create a Facebook event, and let us know if this worked for you.
