Balancing Parenting Through Healthy Boundaries

Short YouTube coaching clip by Coach Ambereen about balancing parenting and work at home. The speaker highlights that children often do not perceive a parent "being at home" as actual work, and recommends communicating boundaries kindly, practicing compassion, and scheduling dedicated time to give children attention.
Innovative day. I hope and I pray that today brings with it moments where you are doing things a little bit differently to.
Bring out the best results. It's kind of like managing your time in a smart way.
For those of you who do not.
Know who I am, my name is Coach Andreen, and I show up here every single day as I began this series called Insights of X Mom, where I pour in with strategies, with tools, with perspectives and innovative ways of thinking where you as a parent or a family member, can actually start to carve out a more united relationship with your loved ones.
So thank you so very much for tuning in and listening. Today is going to be a very.
Short but very great reminder for myself.
My little humans are home.
As we're almost starting to think about breaks and things of that nature, we are all in it together. Yet what they fail to realize is that when mom is at home physically present, working, they don't think of it as working. So it might happen quite often where you are doing something and you're super focused or want to get this thing done, yet your kids will keep coming to bother you, ask you questions, will need your attention and want it and crave it and kind of demanding for it. What do you do at a time like this?
Well, I'm telling myself today to make.
Sure that I am just kind to them. So loving kindness while practicing compassion is what the key is going to be for today's successful day. Do they realize that I'm working? Yes.
But they are they still kids?
Yeah.
You know, at their age, when they're a little bit younger, their primary job.
Is just to want acceptance and attention and want to make their parents happy. And so I want to be a happy parent, and I want happy children. So I'm going to allow them to be as I gently remind them that right now, it's time for me to be working and I will give back to them when I have that carved out that time and that break. So I hope this serves you.
The most important thing that you can.
Do right now is to communicate that message with them with just respect and show a ton of compassion for them wanting to love you and be around you.
With that said, sending you a whole lot of umbergy. Take good care, ex mom.
Signing out.
