Do you have a difficult time letting go of the past? Well, you're not the only one. There are millions of people in the world holding grudges, making all their decisions from their past, and really not looking at the future in a positive lens. That's a pretty miserable life to live, wouldn't you say? Well, research shows us that 80% of our thoughts Are negative. And of those negative thoughts, about 75 to 90% are the same recurring ones that you had yesterday. Folks, what's going on? Hey, if we've never met, my name is Ambereen, and as a family-driven coach, my intention is to make your family development a priority by reframing and restructuring your mindset to really build deep, rich, meaningful connections. And I know you want that for your home and your marriage and with your kiddo and with your grandkids. I would love for you to dive into this topic with me. Do you know that most women have contemplated the idea that their husbands will leave them? Let's leave that thought right there and let's progress on to the conversation topic of today. The past, the one thing that is keeping you stuck. And for the past, I'm not talking about something that happened 20 years ago. I'm talking about something that happened yesterday, something that happened the last hour, or even the last minute. If there is one truth that we all know, that is no one can change the past. So why are we stuck in it, folks? What's going on? If you and I both know it can't be changed, why are we operating from the past? And I began to noodle on this idea, and then I started to talk to a man. And as I'm talking to him, he is having a very difficult time because he's going through a financial crisis. And the saddest part, his wife has left him, not because of finances only, but because the man that he became, where he became obsessed with the mission and the vision and his work and his career, where his wife didn't feel seen, heard, appreciated, or even noticed by him. And he's talking to me and he said, Ambreen, I feel so miserable. I'm so lonely without her. Nothing else matters. And if you're somebody who is thinking that the distance between you and your wife Or you or your husband is increasing, the disconnection is getting wider and wider, and the love and the intimacy and the joy of being around each other is just growing apart. Today's conversation is truly for you. This man who I most likely will not be taking on as a client, why? Because of his mindset. So we set up a call after a lot of difficulty because he's facing a challenge with his work. He's going through a merger and he's gone through many mergers before and somehow none of it pans out. Why? It's his mind. Oftentimes I don't think we realize how much our thoughts influence our actions, which become our behaviors, and build our habits to define who we are as character people. Either you're looking at the world in a positive lens, that things are working out for you, or you're like this man who's saying everything wrong is happening. And he even said, this was my calling to make the world a better place, and I do have a bone to pick with God. I'm doing all the things that God wants me to do, And nothing in life is working out. Now, the one thing I forgot to tell you, or I didn't share with you yet, is the fact that when this call was set up, this man sends me an email, a letter that he had written to his wife 3 years ago. And this letter is about 4 pages long in a size 12 font without any spaces in between, bro. Now imagine how much he had to share. When I asked him, "What are you grateful for today? What are three things you're truly grateful for?" He couldn't tell me. He couldn't tell me. He said, "I would say I'm grateful for my two daughters. I'm grateful for my intellect. It's gotten me really far in life, and I can't think of the third one because." There isn't much in my life to be grateful for right now, Ambereen. And when someone is looking at a glass half full or half empty, that's a narrative of their life. Tell me, in your life, is your glass half full or half empty? Comment down below. No judgments here. In this society, in this community, we are all doing our best to level you up. Now, I read this letter not because I wanted to, To prepare for the call to see what this man really wants. And really quickly, I recognized and realized that he may not be ready for coaching. And in the call, I challenged him and I said, what's the one common thread in all the problems in your life? The fact that you've had billions of dollars in investors that have been given to you, the fact that your wife has left you, the fact that you're almost homeless, The fact that you are not putting any boundaries in this merger where you're on and available for about 12 hours straight in a day? And he said, I don't know. Folks, the only common thread is you. What is your operating mode? Are you grateful for this life, or do you feel like this life is a curse? Because that's the single biggest predictor of how your life is going to unfold. He said, Ambereen, I feel lonely and I feel so miserable without my wife, and all I want to do is win her back. And I think I'm going to get there because all she wants is a steady income, and she's not a materialistic person. She just wants safety. Which is the most important thing that women are looking for. They're looking for emotional and psychological safety with their partners. And if as a man you're chasing life with a pessimistic mindset, you can't provide her that. Coaching is that one tool that I truly believe can change the narrative, not only for you, not only for your marriage, but also for your home, for your children, to bring more harmony into your house. into your life to really support you, to communicate in a way that you know you've healed from the past, and to create healthy boundaries moving forward, to level up that, that joy, that happiness, that optimism that you and I are both seeking. Because this life, when you're looking at it with a glass half empty, it's pretty miserable and lonely. So let's level you up. Let's take you exactly where you want to go. And if you truly are ready to explore what coaching is, I'm going to encourage you to hop on a discovery call with me. As always, spots are limited, so claim yours today because you don't want this to be a reality 24 years later where your wife has left you when that was her fear that you would leave her.
