Hey, today is a very special and a very different intention for me. It's a day of renewal. What does that mean? That means I want to make sure that throughout the day I take pit stops and intentional pauses to correct my energy and actually be more intentional with the way that I show up. I hope all of you are having a remarkable day. For those of you that don't know me, my name is Coach Ambreen and I am a family driven coach who has begun this new series called Insights of X Mom, where I pour into you every single day with tools and strategies on how to live better and show up as the best version of you for your families. Let's get started. Today is no different. We're going to focus a little bit on my kiddos and see where things kind of unravel themselves, especially in the morning hours. So my eldest today woke up in like this really different mindset. He didn't want to get out of bed. I tried a few times, was really patient, but it just, I wasn't just able to get him out. So I said, all right, well, you have no choice now, but you have to go to the downstairs bathroom and I'm going to wake up your other siblings because then they'll be late for school if I don't. Now, to you and me, it may not sound so bad. Go to the downstairs bathroom. But imagine a 15 year old having to drag himself out of bed only to find out that he can't go to the bathroom across the hall, that he has to tiptoe his way all the way down to the bathroom and actually start his day. So I could already see, like his face coming forward. And I was like, hey, I'll take it. I'll embrace all of it. And as the day kind of, you know, as the day kind of unwrapped itself, I saw him not getting out of that rut. So I said, oh, what are you feeling? And he goes, I'm tired. I'm like, honestly, really tired. And I said, oh, so you want to feel more energetic? He's like, I don't want to be like bunny bouncing around. I said, all right, well, I'm just saying, whatever the opposite of tired is, maybe you want to start saying that so you could feel into that. And he, you know, he just wasn't managing his time well. He usually is pretty good about bringing his socks from upstairs, you know, in his room to, to wear them downstairs before he gets out of, to go to school. And he usually packs his lunch, will finish breakfast pretty quickly. And so when all of them came down, I kind of forced ourselves to do a meditation for just about five minutes, hoping it would kind of realign and restream the thoughts so that way he can start to be more focused. It didn't work. And that's okay. As long as I didn't react and I showed up as my best. I think that's all we can do at the end of the day as parents. So as now we're going outside and walking to his bus, bus stop. I said, man, what's going on with you today? And he goes, I don't know. I'm like, it's like all chaos up in here. What's happening? He goes, yeah, I don't. I don't know. And I said, what about that philosophy that you gave me the other day? The words of wisdom? Why aren't you applying those? And he said, what are you talking about, Ma? I said, you told me, calm the mind, calm your life. And I saw him shift and pivot. So calm the mind to calm your life. Because our mind is going to be in a state of chaos unless we decide to take control over it. That could be the fact. In chaos, when he's not getting ready on time, when he's not packing into lunch, when he's not finishing his breakfast, when he's running up and down the stairs trying to get his things collected and together in his backpack before he gets into school, it doesn't matter what it is. So that's a brilliant way to end this conversation, to really start to become more calm in your mind and take back control of your life. With that said, sending a whole lot of umberjee with amazing vibes and uplifting goodness. This is X Mom signing out.
