To you. I pray that today purpose enters your life in ways where you are able to take action that aligns with what you want in your life, your desired life, another one that you're like man, that would be ideal, that would be perfect. Well today you march a little bit closer to that. Hey, it's coach Ambreen here, your family driven coach. Like to pour some insights, perspectives, strategies and tools and, and how we can live better within our family. The most important relationship that we actually have in this entire world. And that's what I believe of course entitled to your own beliefs and I respect that. So today's topic is on courage. Courage we know is to is one of the leading high performance habits in the entire world. There was a study done a couple of years back where 300 plus high performers were, were interviewed and one on one and kind of followed around to see what they do differently by a gentleman named Brendan Bouchard who is a, who's my coach, my mentor. And he found these, these common themes between the conversations of these people who are reaching like potentials that are kind of untapped while maintaining positive well being. And the most important thing which you all know I love about talking about, which is relationships and courage is that thing that you have to develop. Most of us don't have courage. We need to work to develop it. And what it means to develop courage is to do the things that are hard to action. The stuff that doesn't feel so good, that isn't so comfortable, that's just not coming to us naturally. And my eldest son today, he actually displayed courage in just such a beautiful manner. He comes to me with his phone, he's like hey look ma, look, look. What I asked and I said was this was a very difficult thing for me to do. And I'm kind of reading the last comments, right? He goes no, no ma, go up. And he asked somebody, you know, very openly and honestly, which is a whole lot of bravery and courage to say I respect myself enough and I value myself enough to ask you, hey, do you really care about me? Do you really care about me? He's asking somebody that he cares about to find out is this relationship kind of worth investing in? Does he need to see perspectives of somebody else? Does need to better understand the whole picture because he really does like to pour into the people that he cares about. And what I've been trying to teach him is this balance and this dance which he's so beautifully embracing as he's becoming a young man is respect people because there's a mutual respect between you two in the relationship where you give and you get. Not just give, give, give, and you hardly get anything because those don't seem to be so successful in the end. And so I was like, like, did the mom thing, right? Took my arms up and now you're like, oh, it goes, mama, Ma, come on, mom. Just showing you my. Don't make it a big deal and don't make it a thing. All right, let me just mellow it down. So two things. Courage doesn't come naturally. We have to step into it kind of to summon courage. And a lot of times we have to react the way that we want others that we love to react in that manner. Right? For me, it was like a big party, like a big celebration moment. And for my son, it was like, hey, Ma, I just wanted to show you so you can understand. I did this.
