Ego: Edged God Out!

Coach Ambereen posts a personal-share YouTube video reflecting on a difficult recent period, discovering she is a single parent (National Single Parent Day), and examining an "ego" moment where she confronted a mother about enrolling her daughter. She apologizes for the directness, reflects on forgiveness and personal growth, and describes a successful virtual group coaching program for adolescents (ages 9–19) that meets weekly by age-group cohorts. She explains the enrollment process (a free, no-obligation vetting call for parents), asks viewers to DM or share referrals, and ends with a compassionate call-to-action.

You optimistic day. I hope today is just that for you. A day filled with positivity, radiance and goodness. As I was pondering upon what I wanted to talk to you about today because it is a day for personal share couldn't stop myself but to let you know that this past few weeks, weeks maybe, but days have tremendously been very difficult for me. And today I found out there is a thing called National Single Parent Day and I fit into that bucket. So it's just beautiful how today I have actually spent time doing a lot of healing from my past relationships to make myself feel more recognized, more appreciated, but also surrendering to welcome so much more abundance, goodness and just positivity into my family's life. And so my share today is on how I messed up a little bit yesterday and I had to check myself and go back and think did my ego come out? And that's something that I never want to happen. I want to strive to be a conscious human being and to always prioritize other people and their feelings when I'm communicating specially. And so I've launched this group coaching program which is catered towards SL adolescents from the age of 9 to 19 and it's actually producing remarkable results. So I'm expanding the group out more and more to be catered towards like the 9, 9 to 11 year olds, 12, 12 to 13 year olds, 14 to 16, 17 to 19 and we get together every single week virtually and talk about challenges that they're facing on how do you manage your energy and actually feel more joyful? How do you communicate respectfully to others who are not trying to understand you? And I was talking to this one mother who's been really trying and really like all in about getting coached or getting her daughter coached. But what she isn't doing is she isn't really signing up and doing the work that's required for Donald to actually enroll. So there is a process, right? With everything in life we got to have a process because then things don't work. So the process where a parent will sign up, will sign up and enroll for a for a free no obligation call and we just talk about what the challenge that the child is facing and to really vet and figure out is this program going to serve them? Is this something that is going to actually help this adolescent versus just enroll somebody who may not benefit from the actual program. And so this mom keeps sharing with me how she wants her daughter to get in and how she's so passionate about coaching and how she herself has seen profound results but she's not doing the work. So I told her very directly yesterday that, hey, in order for me to share anything additional with you, I really need you to just hop on the enrollment call. But I didn't say it like that. I said, you know, I want you to know that there is. There's nothing more that I can do for you until you actually sign up. And I want to vet and see does your daughter, like, is this something that she's going to actually benefit from? Which isn't my decision to make. Right. In all honesty, it's for the parent to realize that the kid is the one benefiting from these group sessions. And so I kind of was at, like, a way of being unsettled with myself a lot of yesterday. And at nighttime, I apologized to her. I said, hey, you know, sorry for being so. I apologize for being direct. What I should have said is, you know, of course, being more polite in the way that it came across. And so I told myself, you know what? You've done your part, you've forgiven yourself, and you've asked for an apology. Time to move on. And God works in magical ways. She didn't respond back to me all of yesterday, and I wasn't really expecting something further to go on until today. She reached out and she is all game. She is trying to talk and figure out when the next class will be, what time is going to fit her and her daughter's schedule, so that way her daughter can actually join the youth coaching program and do better. So, you see, sometimes we have to learn to forgive ourselves for the mistakes that we make, to welcome all the good and heal from the past, to welcome the new, which ties us back into this point. I want to send you guys off with a whole lot of umbraji and lots of love. And if you know anybody that's struggling, a parent who's talking about their adolescent child, you know, not having good study habits, having a lack of confidence, really not understanding how to manage their time and even their tech time. Right? Or build connected relationships with their loved ones. Reach out to me. DM me. I would be so honored and so privileged to have somebody that, you know, hop on this journey with me where they're part of a community that is filled with collaboration and support from their peers. And there's so, so much inspiration happening in this virtual session when we just meet once a week for one hour. So if you would be so kind and share this message on with anybody that can benefit, I would be truly honored and take very good care of yourself. Bye, now.
