Embracing Spontaneity for Stronger Family Bonds

A short conversational YouTube video by Coach Ambreen (family-driven coach) describing a spontaneous morning routine with her children and a visiting nephew. Through the anecdote—asking the nephew what a "lady who's a tomboy" is—Ambreen challenges labeling (decides to stop calling her daughter a "tomboy" and simply call her a girl) and encourages embracing spontaneity, inner-child play, and conscious family leadership to strengthen bonds.

Fun filled day to you.
I hope today brings with that moment where you unleash your inner child that.
Is right, the one that wants to have a blast, have fun, be curious.
Be present, ask questions. That one, why is that so important?
Because that's how you learn to live with vibrancy, with commitment or just spontaneity, which is something I think kids do such a great job of. As we become adults, we kind of forget how to do all that stuff, right? The simple things, just have fun. Which is why I made it a.
Very conscious decision today to have a fun filled day.
For those of you who don't, I.
Stumble upon this way too many times.
For those of you who don't know who I am, my name is Coach Ambreen and I'm a family driven coach whose intention is to share some daily insights from my morning routine with my three kids and give you some practical strategies and tools as to how you can become a better and a more conscious leader of your family. The intention always is to make sure that you add some more joy, some respect, some love and goodness into your life. That way you can strengthen that connection and that bond. So today it's not as much about me and my kiddos as it is.
About me and my nephew. He spent the night with us and.
Kind of ad hoc, spontaneous, spontaneous sleepover. He woke up in the morning and although he could have woken up a lot later, I decided to wake him up with my kiddos just so he can get a flavor for what it's like and really feel part of that morning excitement or chaos as some of you may call it.
As we were driving back, you know.
To his house after the kids, after my kids have left for school, I asked him, hey, what do you call a lady who's a tomboy?
And his head was like, what? I said, do you know what a lady is?
And he said.
Yeah.
I said, do you think I'm a lady?
And now he's pausing and hesitating. He has no idea how to respond back because he sees so many sides of me.
Well, what is a lady? He goes, someone who's beautiful and, and smart and kind.
What a brilliant way to define what it is to be a lady. Hey, for all of you ladies out there, there is your definition right there.
Coming back to the question, what do you call a tomboy or lady who's a tomboy? And none of us could answer this question. And what came to mind is, isn't she just a lady? Isn't she just a girl? Why does she have to be labeled as a tomboy? Because my daughter is very much what you would call a typical tomboy. She has two older brothers and I am not the way people stereotype is girly girly. And I'm deciding today to make that shift where I just call my daughter a girl. Not a tomboy, but a girl. Because she should be able to embrace all facets of who she is. That be her strength, that be her determination, that be a willingness to place boards that we have, willingness to be emotionally competent and really strive to be her best, holistically speaking. Let me know how you can make that shift and pivot today. With that said, sending you a ton.
Of fun filled umbergy this is Ex mom signing out.
Bye.
