Forced reset & pause to rise as a parent

A short YouTube monologue by Coach Ambereen addressing parents about self-care and parenting. The speaker reflects on a personally difficult month, emphasizes that neglecting one’s own needs reduces what parents can offer their children, describes restorative morning routines (walk, jog, good breakfast), and encourages surrendering to a larger plan to restore balance and strengthen family bonds.

Peaceful day to you. I hope today brings with moments of just tranquility, serenity and just goodness. I am a coach on brain and I'm a family driven coach who shows up here every single day pouring some insights from my early hours as I spend time with my little humans in the morning when we set up to go to school, or even before that. And today is kind of a different one. This one is a little bit more about us parents. I think we as parents are so preoccupied and so focused on serving our children that we often forget our own selves. And what we fail to realize is when we forget ourselves, we're not really pouring in the best of who we are into our kids. And this month has been a pretty tough month for me. I'm not sure why. I have bits and bits and ideas as to why, but every single day it seems like I consciously have to work really hard to show up as what I call ex mom for all of you. And that's just a mother and a father just like yourself who's really trying to understand their kids, accept them as they are and love them unconditionally because they're here doing the best that they can. Just like we are coming back to point now when we forget to take care of our own selves and we don't give the best to our kids, we realize that something's missing, something's off. Either you're not feeling as high, you're not as energetic, or not as vibrant, you're not as joyful, or you sometimes even feel drained, stressed, overwhelmed and can't really point a finger at it. Today I went again for, you know, just a nice long walk after my jog, focused on my health. Ate a good breakfast, really slowed down the pace instead of just going, you know, like in my normal go, go, go to do list to understand what's coming up and what's coming up is idea of surrendering, surrendering to something bigger than myself. Surrendering to know that the timeline that I want things to get done is not going to be possible. And to know that there is a better plan and a huge, huge, huge force that's much greater than me doing the work of bringing me back to my own self as I align here every single day with you guys on purpose to really pour into families, to create an irreplaceable bond which is based on this idea of acceptance, a ton of gratitude which leads to joy alongside with acceptance, to really grow with our families and our loved ones. So, so that way we can keep pouring in the best of who we are and really strengthen this bond to make it irreplaceable and truly authentic to be our own. I pray that this video has served you. It did take a lot of courage for me to make it. So drop comments down below. Let me know what you took away from it. With that said, sending you a whole lot of umbergy. Take good care of yourself. This is X Mom signing out. Bye.
