Gratitude & Self-Appreciation

Coach Ambereen and a co-speaker show how gratitude and self-appreciation strengthen family bonds and increase joy. They use a nephew's hug to illustrate caring, then encourage you to replace automatic "I'm good" answers with real appreciation, celebrate small wins, and find one way to appreciate yourself.

Appreciative day to you.
I pray that today you learn and find ways to appreciate not just the small moments, but also other people. And that's the topic of discussion today. I am your family driven coach. My name is Ambreen and I show up here often to remind all of us on how to connect better as a family. How to create a bond around gratitude, acceptance and shared values.
And yes, my video does look a little funky today. It looks almost looks like there is a body on my, in my hands, without a head.
That's pretty true.
His head's kind of hiding in the background there. So this very moment, right here, right.
Now, my nephew is sitting on my, you know, on me, and all he's doing is just hugging me. That's it. Why?
He wasn't feeling so great.
So my son just brought him to me and gave him to me. And then since then, I asked him how he is. We're changing the way that we answer that. We no longer say that we are doing good, we say that we're doing great, doing amazing, remarkable, anything else besides good? Because what I started to realize is we appreciate life a little less when we just give a response that's automated and in the American culture, you know, saying, I'm good, I'm fine, hanging in there.
It's something that's pretty mediocre. So making an intention, you know, for.
The kids that I, that I mentor or the kids that are super close to me, that we start to find ways of just appreciating even a response, something as simple as, how are you doing? And so I want you to answer this question. What is one way that you can appreciate yourself a little bit more? And the reason why I'm diving in with yourself is because it is really important as people that we start to really appreciate all the efforts and take credit for all the wonderful things that we do on a day to day basis. Quite often things that we don't even really recognize for our own selves in this beautiful, you know, scenario. I have been asking a ton of women, you know, how do you celebrate yourself? And most of them answer by saying, what do you mean by that? Like, what does that question even mean, let alone how to answer it. And in our culture, I think we don't celebrate life as much as we should. We don't celebrate the ups, the downs, the moments, the simplicity of life, which keeps us away from gratitude. And the more grateful that we become as people we know by research and through tons of books and articles, that the more joyful our life becomes. So gratitude and joy kind of go hand in hand. The more grateful that you become, the more you appreciate things and you express the appreciation or you take pauses to actually recognize those things, the more likely that we are to have more and more abundance and goodness entering into our lives.
I pray that this message served you do Let me know what is some what is a way that you're appreciating yourself today, and then also let me know what more content you want me to create. What are some things that are on your mind? What are some ways that I can.
Help you solve some some difficulties that.
You'Re going through within your own family or even challenges with your own mindset? And that would be a truly an honor to do that for you. With that said, I'm sending you a ton of emergency and a whole lot of goodness. Ex mom signing out.
Bye.
