What does integrity mean to you? Take a moment right now and really define it so this video can serve you and your home. There is a way that we can actually reset after breaking our own boundaries, our own integrity. I'd love to dive in with you and really understand what happens when you break integrity with your screen time, with overgiving in your relationship and abandoning self-care. Let's dive in, shall we? You and I both know that integrity is one of the most crucial parts about feeling like you're enough, feeling good about yourself. Integrity is this ability to do what you say you're gonna do, when you're gonna do it, and sometimes even how you're gonna do it. When you tell yourself, hey, you know what, I'm going to make a new commitment to myself this month. Starting today, I'm going to decrease my tech time, my screen time by 1 hour, and I'm going to actually make sure that an hour before I sleep, I'm not on screens. Yet something changes. At 8:25, you look at the time and you say, oh my God, I'm still on tech. It's going to make it harder for me to go to sleep. What do you do? You reset. You let go. You give yourself grace because you are human. What happens though when you are pouring and overpouring in your relationship, overgiving in your relationship? Is that aligned with your integrity? Imagine your spouse comes home and you are in the middle of something very important, and at 6:10 PM you decide to drop everything that mattered to you, that was on your delivery, that was important to you, and you start attending to him or her. Now your spouse is gonna love it. But you later, when you put your head to that pillow, you're not going to enjoy it, not one bit. So what are you going to do differently? How are you going to make sure that that boundary that you set for yourself, where you're not overgiving, not overinvesting at the cost of yourself, how are you going to recenter yourself? Well, one of my clients actually had the exact same challenge. And what we were able to do was just to communicate openly, honestly, and say, hey, I'll be with you in just a little bit. I'm actually finishing something that was very important. And this simple reframe made the relationship stronger. It made her partner realize that she doesn't have to drop everything to cater to him, and also gave him permission to know that she's not always available to him at his disposal. What would you do if you were feeling like you need your partner or your spouse right away and they really were not available? What does your integrity say at that time? As you continue watching the next 60 seconds, this is the one that is key. Is crucial. As we dive into abandoning self-care at the cost of our own integrity, everything changes. Self-care, self-love, self-respect— people talk about this all the time. The missing link when it comes to integrity is your self-essence, is your self-esteem. Who are you? And why do you need to prioritize yourself? Drop in the comments the answers to those questions. Because when you know who you are, that you are beyond your roles, that you are somebody who holds yourself accountable to the life that you also want to create while having a family, everything shifts. When you pour into yourself, when And you say, you know what, every single Saturday I'm going to take a nap in the afternoon at 12 o'clock. And you communicate that to your family and they start to see and expect on Saturday at 12 o'clock, my dad goes to take a nap. You're teaching your children, your spouse, your home that self-care is really important. And this is the way you've defined it. And when you keep pouring into yourself, they'll respect you more, because as you level yourself up, as you pour into your own esteem, into your, your own essence, the level of integrity will start to climb up too. Now, if you're somebody who's thinking, what is integrity? I've watched this video up this far and really, Ambereen, what do you mean when you say integrity? I want you to take a moment and answer this question. Drop it in the comments below so that every single person can learn from you as well.
