Hey, purposeful day to you. I pray that today you add a little bit more intentionality. I know that the, the sun is shining behind me and this is a very cool and dope looking image. I thought about changing my position but I was like, no, what? The message is much more important in the way that I look than the way that I look. And hey, if you don't know who I am, I am a family driven hype, family driven high performance coach and my name is Ambreen. I love to serve every single one of you who's tuning in. Just find a few insights, tools, breakthroughs, maybe a brand new perspective on how I deal with challenges that come up in my life. And a lot of it's driven by this concept of like I want to be X mom like so bad, just want to be her so bad. Like there she is right there, right? And an ex mom is a mother who embraces, accepts and loves and is compassionate with her little humans. And our kids, you know, they're only with us for a very short time. However, we get so caught up in the now and in the chaos of the mind that we don't really cherish the moments that we should be building with them. And today that's what happened to me. I woke up in a state of chaos. We'll go woke the kid up, walk second kid over, like, come on, let's get a dope, we gotta go to school. And they're like, you know what mom, we're gonna take the second bus today. Said, okay, that's totally, that's totally fine. And here is the time of the second bus approaching. The first ones are a bit missed and they are still like just full on, chill motors on. And I told them, hey, if you miss the bus, I'm going to be very angry with you. This is the way I said it. And lo and behold, guess who misses the bus. Both of my sons. And I was mad, I was angry. However, I had to be so mindful and so present of the way I was communicating with them because as I start to live into being ex mom, it is really important for me to be graceful, to be compassionate, to be kind, to be loving and to be all the things that are needed to show up as the best version of me, especially as a mother. So I saw them miss the bus. So that kind of walk with them to the stop and the bus was gone, there was nobody there. And then I was like, you know what, I'm brain, turn around and start walking the other way because I usually go For a morning walk. Anyways, I was like, do your morning thing. Do your routine. Don't pay attention to them. And I didn't. So they both came to me and now they're coming out. The bus was too early. Oh, you know, like, I think I would think it was this, all these like shenanigans, right? And then mom, like, please don't you dare even take me there. And I'm trying to slow myself down again. Just keep walking. And they got the point. So they both sat outside on this hill trying to just like be, be calm. My son actually wanted to catch the bus and cross the street to try to catch it, and that wasn't safe. So kind of just said, hey, come back. And he did. So it was like these simple chips and moments. And soon after, after we had, you know, I've taken my break, I've been more present, I've been more aware. I decided to just have a small conversation with them which indicated that we're not heading back home with no plan, with nothing. So my son goes, should I just walk to school? And I said, oh, it'll take about two hours, you know, because you're walking there, it's about a five mile walk. So it's up to you. I don't think it's going to be. Going to be the best result. So go back inside. And kind of put a little bit of pressure on my daughter to say, you know what, sweetheart, we have to leave on time. And so I did and I got in the car and this stuff that's happening, like the door is not locking, the door staying close, open, the keys are not in the car. When I asked my kiddo to sit down with the keys and like, it's just like building, right? Because the chaos of the mind already started. Woke up late and just like didn't meditate. And it's building. And I'm like, you know what? I don't want to hear anyone talking in the car at all. Just needed to be completely quiet. And so my sweet second, you know, said something like, really amazing. And I was like, hey, buddy. I said, I want it quiet, right? So just reiterating to them, right? Just kind of reinforcing to them. This is the expectation right now. Mama needs a break. Mama needs to pause. And she's an intentional pause. She just wants it quiet. And they were quiet. But I was like, I was going, I need this change, this change, this change, this change. And the answer came down to, I'm tolerating my own behaviors, my own lack of habits, my own lack of consistency. So why don't I start to change that a little bit and I could be a little bit kinder to the kids and maybe that energy will serve my whole family so much better. Not maybe, most definitely. I really pray you took something from this. If you did comment down below, tell me what is that one takeaway that you have? And then we keep the conversation rolling as you can reach out to me@coachumbrain.com set up some time and we can just hang out. I can kind of figure out where you're at with life and where you want to go, and it would be an honor for me to cross paths with you intentionally as you show up a little bit more for yourself. This is your ex mom signing out. Thank you so much for staying tuned this far. Lots of love and ton of emergency as well.
