Mindset Struggles & Discouragement

A personal journal-entry style YouTube video by Coach Ambereen in which she describes a rough day and rising feelings of discouragement and doubt. She traces the doubts to taking new risks and inconsistent commitments from others, highlights journaling (audio notes/video) as a tool to identify and process mindset issues, and introduces a forthcoming five-month, weekly in-person group coaching program for women. The clip ends with mindset reframing (surrender, what is meant for you will come) and encouragement to other parents.

Exciting day to you. I pray that today is filled with wonderful instead of going to really captivate the way that you feel about life. Hey, it's coach. I'm brain here. Your family driven coach and showing up here ready to serve you and even myself a little bit today been a rough and a tough day. Not too sure why. My mindset is in places all over. And what I began to realize is it is essential and critical for me to go back to the basics and dive into that mind of mine. Reached out to several people, got responses back, even had some, a lot of people commit to action items that I had been hoping for them to do. So, however, I'm still feeling disheartened. So as a mother, I have all this energy of being discouraged right now. And before I go back and pour back into my little humans, I thought it would be essential for me to really understand where it's coming from. So took a deep journal life, kind of stopped everything that I was doing. I know it's not easy for many of you who have jobs, but even if you could, you know, maybe save that time for during lunch hours or even before you go home where you're realizing that your energy is just not going to serve others because it's not serving you, take just a small, tiny bit, do like an audio note, create a video of yourself and just talk to yourself. And I think journaling is such a powerful tool. And today, one of the guests that came on my show lead with intentions. You know, Yayoi talks about this important concept of how much journaling has helped her kind of evolve throughout her own life and what she really wants to contribute and how she wants to show up. And I saw myself starting off really strong in the day, kind of just dipping, dipping, dipping. And here I am right now. So in this journal entry, what I found out is a lot of doubt is coming up. Doubt. Why are there doubts coming up? The doubts are coming up because I'm doing something very different. I'm taking a risk, I'm being bold. I'm showing up with courage, and I'm not getting the same back in return from the people I'm talking to. So these people will commit and then they don't commit. The people will kind of go forward and then they won't. They say they'll do something and then they don't. So kind of really playing in this game of chasing the mice, we're really not making enough progress. And so I had to surrender, surrender as a mother, surrender as a human, surrender as a An entrepreneur and know that what is meant for me cannot escape me. Whatever is meant to happen in my life, you know, whoever these people are, they're going to sign on and be on board with this new program. And the new program is how I'm going to be serving ladies in person through a five month group coaching program where every single week we will meet together in person and pour into our community and create an authentic and irreplaceable bond amongst each other to really foster that relationship and tap into authenticity while being completely open to being vulnerable. Which is a lot, I know. But I have faith that this will be a super, super, super successful program. And the women that are going to join, the people that are going to show up in your life, in my life, the way that they're going to show up is just a reflection of who they are, not a reflection of the work that I have done or the way that I have shown up. So this deep journal dive proved to me that there were doubts coming up for me because I have not done this before. So what? That's been most of my life. I haven't done the things that I do now. Ten years ago, ten years ago, I was a homemaker. Completely and fully not working, pouring into my. Into my family, because for me, that was priority back then when my little humans were, you know, tinier than they are right now. And so I'm gonna really encourage you when those doubts come up, to recognize that everything will work itself out. However it all stands. Starts with a mindset and how we have to shift it to be one that better serves us. So that way we can pour in the best of who we are to ourselves, first and foremost, and then to all of our interactions. With that said, sending you a ton of positive, loving, exciting, enthusiastic, encouraging. Umbergee, this is Ex mom signing out and wishing you nothing but the west but the best. Because you as parents are striving to become the best of who you are. And nothing honestly makes me happier than that to keep rising, keep being you. I'm cheering you on. And go. You.
