My Daughter's honest observation

Coach Ambereen delivers a short YouTube monologue about practicing consciousness and presence, centering on the idea of a "role model mindset." She shares a personal anecdote in which her daughter observes Ambereen's habitual expressions of gratitude (saying "thank you" in many situations) as an example of role-modeling. The video transitions into a promotional pitch for her family-focused coaching program, Tawakkal coaching, which aims to foster harmony, authentic expression, gratitude, and supportive home environments.

Conscious day to you. I pray that today is filled with moments of just awareness and presence. I think consciousness is something that we overthink. However, it's not easy to practice. Being conscious and aware just basically means that you are submerged right now in this moment, fully present, and that your thoughts and my thoughts are now wandering off someplace else. So a lot of hard work to do. However, there's one thing that comes up, you know, as I was thinking about what to put put out for you today, my daughter said something this past week and I thought it had to be shared. I often talk about this concept of a role model mindset, especially as parents, as leaders of our families, as people who want to influence each other to just be a little bit more positive, live a little bit more holistically, better, add more fun and joy to your life. You know how it is. So my daughter said to me while being in the car, she's like, oh, mom, you always say thank you. If somebody cuts you off, you say thank you. If somebody does something nice, you say thank you. If someone doesn't do what they said they were going to say thank you. You're always saying thank you and you're always being kind to everyone. And she just stopped kind of with that comment. And I allowed myself to process and I told myself, you know what, I better take a lot of credit for this one because it is not easy. It is not easy for us as parents to have a mindset where we are just being pure consciousness is aware. I was aware that someone's cutting me off. I don't want to wish ill upon them. I just want to be fully present and say that's okay. I don't want to judge them to say they were doing something wrong. I don't want to show them that I'm angry or frustrated. And more than them, I think it's me role modeling for my kids the way I want them to be when they're on the road, the way I want them to be when they're interacting with people and not having the best experience. So if you are somebody who wants to learn this beautiful thing called role model mindset, go ahead and reach out to me.
