Coach Ambereen (YouTube video) discusses "social energy" within family units, arguing that many people are socially reactive and should reprogram themselves to act proactively. The speaker emphasizes responsibility for reactions, the role of socialization in character, and recommends explicit family-level planning (e.g., a six-month check-in) to build authentic, irreplaceable bonds and reduce outside influences that limit family members' growth.

And the social energy piece is something that so many of us are struggling with, including myself. The reason being is socially we've just been reactive. So now to go back and really reprogram yourself and take the necessary actions beforehand to be more proactive, right? We are responsible for our actions. The reaction to others actions is how we show up with our character. And that all goes to socialization, right? How do we as human beings behave in a society? And if you look at this, just this, you know your family as like a unit and start to define where you're socially at, you'll see that improvements can happen. When you start to define, you know what, that let's do it again. Six months later plan is six months later, where do you want to be with your family socially, where the other people's influences and truths are not impacting you or not limiting your own lives, but you're thriving and rising because you realize there's something more that you want for yourself. And this I think is so necessary. It's key, I would say when you know how you want to feel as a unit, how you want to engage as a unit, how you want to influence each other as a unit, you are going to start to really carve out the path of creating that irreplaceable and that authentic bond that I talk about so often with you. Six months later, how is that family going to be? How are you going to be.
