In this motivational coaching video, Coach Ambereen warns parents that the average American checks their phone over 100 times a day and spends more than four hours daily on digital devices, a habit that is eroding family connection. She dramatizes a typical late‑night scene: a parent discovers a child secretly online past curfew, leading to a heated confrontation fueled by anger and frustration, which quickly escalates as both parent and child yell at each other. The spouse, trying to intervene, is also distracted by their own phone, illustrating how screens dominate entire households. Ambereen argues that this pattern is not isolated but reflects a global crisis where millions prioritize screens over relationships, creating a disruptive, disconnected family culture. She calls parents to take ownership as household leaders, model disciplined device use, and reshape the home’s culture. Finally, she promotes her Signature Program as a structured solution to break these patterns and restore well‑being, health, happiness, harmony, and deep connection within families.

An average American picks up their phone over 100 times in a day. 25 years ago, if you heard someone saying that you would give more attention to your phone than your children, they would say, "That's not possible." Not only is it possible, it is a reality of the world that we live in. I've got even more devastating facts to share with you as we continue this conversation. So keep watching until the end to learn, to grow, to educate yourself on how to make family development a priority for your home. Okay, so it is 10:44 PM on a school night, and as you're about to head into bed, You hear your kiddo and you have a hunch that maybe he or she is online. You want to give your kid the benefit of the doubt, and the other part of you is saying that maybe something's up, maybe they still are online. So you take a moment and you slowly open the door and go inside. You're literally standing above his or her head. And they have no idea that you're there. You're looking at the time and just passing by. It almost seems like 20 minutes have gone by and they are sitting carefree, so consumed that they don't even know you're behind them. Have you been there? Yeah, it's tough. Now, what do you do in a moment like this when they are breaking their own curfew, when they're not honoring and having integrity with the rules that were created in the house to be offline especially on a weekday, not past 10 o'clock. Well, what do you feel? You feel your heart racing, you feel the anger consumed in your energy, and shortly after, you see your kiddo turn, and they're dumbfounded because they don't even know when you came into the room. Now, you are trying your best to stay cool, But they know they did wrong, so you lose it. Start yelling and start screaming, and all the work that you had done to remain calm as a parent— boop— goes out the door. Soon you see that there's just frustration and anger, and you're vomiting all these negative words and being cruel and mean to your kid. So what do they do? They reciprocate right back to you. Now there is a room filled with two people yelling and screaming. Why? Because the chaos of the screens have taken over. Does this resonate? If it does, drop a comment below, say this resonates, to let all of us know that you're not in this alone. We feel exactly the way that you do. It's a fight that we're all trying to get out of, how to really grasp a hold on technology Your spouse hears all the commotion and decides to come to save the evening. They show up with their phone in their hand, half invested, half engaged, trying to scroll through while picking up bits and pieces to find out what really is going on. This is not the state only of your home, it's the state of millions of homes all across the globe. Where people aren't prioritizing their families, but they're prioritizing the screens, and it's so difficult to put them down. If this is truly the state of your home, there's so much support that's needed because you guys are going down a disruptive path. You're bringing destruction into your own homes. And I know I may get a lot of hate for saying this, and then we get a lot of people pointing fingers right back to me. And that's okay. Someone's got to say, say it. Someone's got to be the one that tells you things as they are. And I'm okay with being in integrity with myself, holding myself to a higher standard, and you as well. Why? Because you are the leader of this home. You've got to take ownership for your actions. You've got to see how your actions and behaviors are really influencing your home and how what you're allowing and not is creating the culture of your house. Here is the sad truth I mentioned I would share with you. Most Americans are on their devices for over 4 hours a day. That is more than a part-time job. No wonder we're finding no time to connect, to enjoy the moments in our lives, to be present. We've been training and teaching our mind what is important, what we have to keep picking up, what we have to keep attending to, by not only making it a habit where we're doing it 100 times a day, We're also spending our 4 hours every single day telling our kids, our husbands, our wives, our mothers, our fathers what really matters to us. Now I know that I came across very direct, and it's to really let you know that what you're going through is what I help support people with. My intention is to help you break these patterns so you can actually prioritize what matters in life.
