Clone Camp Day 3 Boundaries

A speaker shares personal experiences about setting boundaries around work hours and time management. The focus is on how entrepreneurs can protect their mental space and productivity by deciding when work stops and personal life begins.
Foreign. Yes, it is raining again today at camp. If you were, if you were wondering, I. But these boundaries are so important and I am a recovering workaholic. I don't know if, if there are any else, any other ones out there, I'd love to hear from you. If so, it's always nice to be in light company. But I, when I stepped away from corporate America, thought, no more boundaries. I am free. I'm gonna do things my way. I can do it however I want. I can just roll with it. And what I found is that that is highly ineffective to getting things done and to running a business the way that I ultimately want it to be running and to achieve the levels of success that I want to achieve. So what these boundaries are gonna do is actually give us mental space and capacity to develop innovative and creative solutions for our clients and for our prospects and clients down the road. That space is also great from a health and wellness perspective. Your body needs that time to recharge, of course. And so when we set up these boundaries, we give ourselves that space to actually grow our business and do more. Business is not one size fits all. So you may find that these do not work for you, but another set of boundaries or some other ideas grew for you that you want to consider or test out in your business. I personally set up not working hours. Stuff always comes up right. But 80% of the time I do not work in the evening. I do oftentimes pick work up again after 8:30 or 9:00 clock at night after the kids are in bed. But I do have this time with my family, with my husband, and that I set aside. And for me, sometimes I'm out of here. Do you work on the weekends? 80% of the time I don't. 20% of the time I do. How should people get in touch with you? What do you never want to do again? What do you do for your clients today that inside you're like, I don't really want to do this, but I guess I'll do it. What family or relationships do you have in your life that you really want to do away with or that suck your energy? So again, you need to establish some boundaries in terms of how and when and how much you interact with those people. Their boundary that's critical to establish is one related to how much client workload can you take on at any given time. When you figure that number out, you also have to consider how much time do you need for business development? How much time do you need for sort of administrative housekeeping? Activities. Let us know in the comments below. What boundaries are you going to set up and more importantly, what are you going to do with the extra time and the extra space that you've gifted yourself as a result of setting up these boundaries? I have a feeling these are going to be some fun comments. I can't wait to hear what you're going to do with your free time and what boundaries you're going to set up, and I will see you there if you are available tonight. We have another bonfire at 8pm tonight and of course I would love to see you there and chat with you around the campfire. Thanks so much.
