Day 5.4 Bring More to Your Biz in 2016 2016Planathon.com

Christina Amboyak walks through self-reflection exercises to help you bring your authentic self and intuition into your business. The goal is to identify your true qualities so you attract the right clients and build something with real purpose.
Hello, planethoners. Yes, yes, I'm back, but I don't got my Magic 8 ball this time. I am Christina Amboyak of iloveintuition.com and I love helping women tap into the power of their intuition, unleash their creativity, and really create soulful lives of purpose. Now today for Planet Thumb, we're kicking it off by bringing more of your soul, your light, your essence, more of the real you into your business. All right, so there's a couple things that you need here. You need some paper. You need some markers or colored pencils, crayons. Steal them from your kids if you got to. And if you're going to do this on your own, you need some music, too. Well, we can do it together. The more that you are you, the more that you could tap into your purpose, the more that you trust in your intuition, the more that you express yourself even more in your business. And this is super attractive, and this is why people want to work with you. Everything is energy. You cannot fool energy, so you might as well own it. You might hope be it you. You might as well express your innate self in all that you do. Now, when I talk about the soul, I'm talking about your higher self. This is part of you that embraces and expresses all of those qualities and gifts and talents that really make you unique. Now, if you're not digging the word soul, it's all good. Replace it with the word the real you. The problem that I see is that people are trying to be other people. They're trying to take on different personalities or these qualities and characteristics that are not even who they are. Example that I see this in is who are trying to be all like, Tony, Robin, brah, brah, brah, ha, ha ha. And it's like, that's not even their energy. Their energy is more serene and peaceful, and they create more gracefully than just like this, like, push it, do it, get it done type energy. Going to exhaust yourself if you're trying to take on these qualities and characteristics that are not who you are. Four steps to bring your soul into your business. Number one, I want you to get honest with yourself about who are you trying to be that you know you're not that person. Okay? Now, there's a difference between being inspired by someone versus trying to, like, take on their personality and qualities that just are not innately who you are. All right? So be honest. It's all good. You don't got to share this to anybody and write that down, right? So for me, it's Like, I tried to be serious. That's not me, right? I try to be, like, super structured. But guess what? That's not me. You want to write these things down. When you're done, rip it up. That's not you. Okay? And it's not you. Number two is you're going to have a dialogue with your soul, with your higher self, or with the real you. All right? Take a deep breath. Just breathe in. Get connected in with your body. And then just imagine that your soul self is standing in front of you or the real you is standing in front of you. Just have a dialogue with your soul here. Ask your soul, who is it that I truly am? What innate gifts, talents, qualities about my true self that I am here to express in the world? Tell me, show me. Give it to me. And just have this dialogue for a moment. Don't think too hard. If you think too hard, you're getting stuck in the ego. You're trying to figure it out and want to let the words and those qualities flow through you. Now, fun part. Turn on some music, and we get cracking here, because you know how Beyonce be taking. Getting us to be our real self, right? So take a piece of paper, marker, make a nice big heart, and put your name in the middle because I know you love yourself, and then write down all these qualities, okay? So you want to write all of that down. Let it flow, let it flow, let it flow. Now, what you're going to do once you have that all written down, you are going to step three is take a look at all of these words, and I want you to say each word out loud to yourself. Is this really me? Do I feel it in my bones? You know, is this a part of who I have always, always been? Right? And I want you to take three of those qualities, three of those words that you want to really. That you feel like, oh, my God, yes, this is me. This is totally me. Take those words, circle them. Okay? Step four, how can you bring those three essence, those three aspects of your soul's essence, into your business? All right? It could be into your marketing. It could be into your services. It can be into your website, your design. It could be into the backend admin stuff. So how you structure things and all that, how you approach your day, right? So let's say you're funny. Let's say one of your characters is like, you love to have fun. You're super fun. You love laughing. You love watching comedies. How can you bring that into your business? Maybe you make funny videos. Maybe you add some humor in your copy. Maybe you post some funny things that have happened to you, or share the funny movies you're watching, or share some funny experiences that are going on and take photos of it on your Instagram. And this is just about the energy and what you're bringing to the world, right? It doesn't mean like, oh, I'm funny, so I need to be a comedian. It means you're bringing that energy, that embodiment of who you are in all that you do. Leave a comment.
