Hey, everyone. Amber McHugh with niceops.com here. And today we are going to talk about the one thing you can do to turn up the happiness in your business and your life. I'm sure you've seen it because there is a lot of information out there on the importance of positive affirmations and the power of thinking positive thoughts. Man, you're beautiful. You are so cool and you're fun to hang out with, and you are the best yoga doer on the planet. And you never turn the TV volume up too loud when people are sleeping. It's the little things like that that make you a really good person. Keep up the good work, McHugh. Okay. While all of that is good, it doesn't replace the fact that sometimes thinking about the worst case scenario can actually be really good for your business and your life as well. So there's this concept in business called scenario planning. You think through the things that could possibly happen and you explore, if X happens, then I'll do Y. If A happens, then I'll do B. It's a more flexible approach to running a business because you're going to be ready for anything that's thrown your way. One of my favorite things to do when I go through scenario planning is to think through the absolute worst case scenario. I do this for business because I know that if my absolute worst fear comes true, I'll know exactly how to handle it. That's good for business because it boosts my confidence and keeps me in action. And by doing that, we put fear in its place and we increase happiness levels. And we know after we've done that scenario planning in our mind, if we can handle that, we can handle anything. Amber, it's me, your worst nightmare. I've come to steal your business and eat your soul. Oh, yeah, anything. You never know. So the thinking is that once you've created a game plan for the worst case scenario, you'll experience happiness every time. The worst case scenario doesn't happen because let's face it, 98% of the time, the worst case scenario doesn't actually come to bear. Now, you don't have to stop doing positive affirmations. Believe me, I do my fair share of positive poly chatter, too. But don't forget about the worst case scenario. It's all about integration. So don't stop doing positive affirmations, but know that it's smart business to layer in scenario planning, too. And when you add the worst case scenario, you're going to amp up your happiness levels. As an added bonus, win win. So tell us in the comments, how are you going to use this newfound strategy in your business and life going forward? I can't wait to hear your take. Alright everyone, thank you so much for watching.
