Karen Testimonial

Karen Taggart, a lawyer for online entrepreneurs, shares how Amber McCue's Freshly Implemented program helped her focus her business, build confidence, and grow her legal template shop through mentorship and community support.
I'm Karen Taggart and I'm a lawyer for online entrepreneurs. I help online business owners figure out what they need legally and I provide customizable templates to try to make the legal stuff as simple as before I started Freshly Implemented, I had just narrowed in on the legal niche and I was floating around without any real direction, so. So Amber helped me a lot that first year. This is actually my third year now. She helped me a lot that first year, zoning in on what I want to focus on. And by fall I had launched my template shop, which is my main area of focus. And so setting revenue projections and figuring out what I will offer my clients and what it is they want from me, how to communicate with them all helped me gain so much clarity. I've signed up again year after year now for a couple of reasons. I am honored to be a guest mentor now for the last two years. And number one is I want to stay connected with Amber. I feel like she's my mentor, kind of a biz buddy and she, the way she supports you in a friendly, laid back manner, I just really am drawn to. I feel very connected with her style of teaching and encouraging you along as a business owner and then the community as a whole in the Facebook group has been very supportive. Some of us have kept in contact even from a couple of years ago and so I just wanted to maintain that. I actually can't imagine doing my business without having Amber and the other awesome people in fresh. A couple of my favorite features of Freshly Implemented are of course the back pocket TLCs, being able to call Amber and bounce ideas off of her, get some feedback, things like that. Also the speed masterminding. I love to have a main question or problem area to bring to the group each month and then getting feedback from different people from their perspectives is very valuable. I also love the open studio time where we all sort of work together. We're working on different things. It's like you're together in the room chatting, even though we're in different areas of the country and maybe even the world. And so it can be a little less alone as an online business owner. And then it also works as sort of a secondary masterminding session as well. So those are some of my favorite features. So through speed masterminding and chatting with Amber, I was able to narrow things down. I tend to have a lot of ideas and so Amber helped me zone into one or two areas of focus to move forward on. And she has also, in a very kind, gentle way, pointed out a Couple of areas in the way I do business that are not actual strengths for me. For example, I don't stick with something long enough to really try it over and over again before I jump to the next thing. And also we've spoken a few times about my confidence and she's noticed that that has changed dramatically over the last couple of years for many reasons, but being able to really own that I do know what I'm doing and I know what I'm talking about. She has helped me with and I appreciate so much that she pointed those things out to me in again, a gentle way, in a supportive way. And that's not always easy to do and that has helped me immensely. Freshly implemented is good for me because I have a lot of ideas and I can stay stuck in my thoughts and overanalyze things. So having Amber and the other people in the group to bounce ideas off of, to get feedback from, to get support from, has been truly life changing because otherwise I would be here with just me and my laptop floating around jumping from thing to thing without any clear focus. And I know that I wouldn't be as far along in my business as I am. I first met Amber online through the B school community. We were in that group together. I'm not sure if we signed up the same year or not within one year of each other. So I got to know her a little bit through B school and then I joined her very first Plan A thon which I love and I look forward to every year. I'm a planaholic and so I participate in that every year. I taught a class the one year and am happy to help her as an affiliate spreading the word now because I love it so much and it's truly helps my business to go through the process and plan every year. So that's how I learned about freshly implemented and I joined two years ago after participating in the Plan A thon and been with her ever since. I would highly recommend freshly implemented to other CEOs because it provides so many things. It is a coaching program, a mentorship program, a mastermind program, so much more all wrapped in one. You have a supportive community. You have this person who really knows their stuff to reach out to. She's truly accessible in a way that you just don't see in a lot of other programs and courses. So I would highly recommend it to have this team with you as you build and grow your business. I would tell anyone just signing up for the program to make sure to hop on to the very first speed masterminding session that you can join. Some people don't realize how great those are and miss signing up for them, and it's one of the best parts of the freshly implemented program. Also, Open Studio can seem like time. You don't really need to join because you just think you're going to work together, but it actually is truly another masterminding session with a larger group of people. It's very valuable and very enjoyable and you stay connected with people instead of feeling like you're always alone just working on your laptop by yourself. What I love about Amber is her kind and friendly, approachable manner of doing business. She is very supportive, but really and truly knows her stuff when it comes to revenue projections and goal setting and wading through all of your ideas. So many things that she has knowledge on and she is so accessible and truly wants to be there for you and help you in a way that you just don't see from other coaches and consultants. You may have some access or oftentimes no access to the actual person hosting the course or program. So this program, freshly implemented, is so unique in that you really do get to connect with and get help from Amber herself.
