This is a YouTube video titled "Minisode 6: Pandemic-Proof Your Business Plan!" created on November 11, 2021. The content is a solo presentation aimed at helping business owners adapt their strategies in a dynamic environment.
So a lot of things have changed and you may find yourself having to update your plans. But I also want to invite you to consider you need a new way to plan as well, which we're going to talk about more in the upcoming Plan A thon so you can register for that@theplanathon.com but as you are revisiting your plans right now and you're remaking things and updating your plans for what your business is currently experiencing and going through, I want to share with you three things that you need to include in your plans today. The first thing, have a marketing element in your plan. How are you communicating and how are you engaging with your prospects and your customers to nurture those relationships and invite them into your world so you can serve them and let them know how you can support them. Number two, the second element I want you to have in your plan is a revenue generating activity. Right? I know that there's a lot of conversation and there's a lot going through our heads right now around how do we sell, how, how do we show up, what's the right way to frame that? We'll dive into that more in the Plan A thon with you. But I don't want you to forget about including the revenue generating activity in your plans. And the third thing that I want you to have in your plans is a readiness element. This is especially important for you. If your business had to be put on hold in any way, shape or form due to the current circumstances, this is relevant for us. In our photography business. For example, Shoot had to be put on hold for a period of time. So we're building out a readiness plan so that when we can turn things back on, we can turn to our readiness plan. That helps us identify what we need to do so we can turn things back on in a short amount of time and we are ready to mobilize when the time comes. So three things to consider to include in your plan. New plans that you may be building, you may be editing and they are marketing, revenue generation and readiness. Always adjusting and adapting and thinking about readiness for the future. With all that in mind, let me know in the comments which elements you are going to be updating in your plan. Is it marketing, is it revenue generation, or is it the readiness element? And let me know if you're going to join us for ThePlanathon.com where you can get registered and update your plans. Not only update them, but update them with this new way of planning. Because we need to update our plans but we also need to think about the new way to plan that is ready for this new environment that is full of change.
