MY FREEDOM MAP

A photographer shares how she built a freedom map for her business, balancing time with family and income goals. She walks through prioritizing tasks to cut overwhelm and helps you sketch your own map for what freedom actually means.
Hey, welcome back. I'm so excited to dive into the second video in our Plan A THON series. This is all about building your freedom map. So many people that I talk to, when I'm speaking or even in this group are going after freedom. Of course that can be defined and we can look at that in a number of ways. There's time freedom, there's money freedom, there's even peace of mind. But we can't get that if we are coming at our business. If we're looking at the things on our to do list and they're giving us overwhelm. Oftentimes overwhelm comes from a place of having the wrong things on our to do list, frankly, having too much on our to do list. But we can reevaluate all of that again. So we're working on the $100 bills. So what I want to invite you to think about in this plan planning session is what is the number one thing that you are working toward and we want to think about that. The entire Plan A Thon series as you work out your freedom map. Now let me describe this a little bit. When I started my photography business, we were operating that business as a side hustle. We grew the business to 80,000 in revenue. That was my partner and I working nights, working weekends and spending our free time getting our hustle on as a part time job while we still had a full time gig. We were solely focused on generating revenue with ease. What was going to give us high impact results with low effort because we had limited time. I've got a family that I love spending my time with. I didn't want to spend 24,7 working. It did get to a point and we were constantly reevaluating. What are our priorities now? What do we need to cut? Constantly cutting so we could generate revenue as we were working toward freedom. So I want to ask you and invite you to think about now. What is it that you're working toward? Are you going after freedom? Are you going after the hustle? Do you just need to generate your first step, $600, your first $100 so you can prove a concept and then build from there? Are you right now focused on list growth? Because you need to invite people into your world and into your audience so that you can solve their problems and support them. So I want to know from you in the comments, what is it that you're going after? Is it freedom? Is it flexibility? Is it I need some time back. My revenue is exactly where I want it. But I need more time back so I can do the things that I love so I can invest in growing my business? Is it list growth? Is it connecting yourself to the right people so you can expand your influence? Whatever it is for you, it's a okay. I just want us to bring attention and clarity to to that thing so we can be focused on that as the week progresses. And you can always come back to this idea. Does this get me closer to freedom? Does this get me more time back? Or is this going to be a bigger investment of time and energy that I was expecting? So right now in the comments, let us know, what is that thing for you? It's going to align with your hundred dollar bills and it's going to ts up to set your goal in the next video. I'll share mine in the comments as well. See you there.
