Get ready, because everything is about to change. There's a new way of living life and doing business that will blow your mind. This is a podcast all about the timing of life and the timing of success. It's what we call the Right on Time life. And you are listening to the Right on Time podcast with Amber McHugh. Great to see you. Thank you so much, Audrey McHugh, for finally getting us set up. Hola. It is great to be here with you. On a regular basis. We send out something called the Scoop. This is where I share a little bit of behind the scenes about what's happening in my life and in my business in case a piece of it helps you, too, because I do not want you to have to recreate the wheel. If we got some good stuff we can share with each other that's gonna benefit us in our business, I am all about sharing that today's Scoop. Well, to be honest, I'm feeling it a little bit. I am feeling a little bit drained. I am feeling a little bit emotional. I'm kind of hot. And my video setup isn't working how I want it to work. So if you're having one of those days, too, or one of those seasons, just know you are not in this alone. In fact, one of the things that's been going on for us lately is that in June, we moved out of our house, the place that we have been living for the last couple of years. And we have been spending the summer so far hopping around, traveling in between homes before we move to our new home that is scheduled to be in the Ivory coast, which is on the western central coast of Africa, near Ghana. I'm just learning more and more and more about this location and everything. I hear people love it. I've never been there before. We land in the country and we go to our home. We have some social sponsors that guide us there and help us make that transition and help us get where we need to be going. It is such an adventure. We are so excited to be in that new home and learning and experiencing a new culture and taking all that in, but in between, it's a little tiring. So we first stayed in the house that we had moved out of and we just camped on. We camped on air mattresses and had sleeping bags and had our suitc. And we spent a few days there before our lease was up so that the kids could have more time with friends. And because we were just grounded, we had our routines there. So it was just awesome just to be able to stay there. Even though we were camping out for a week and. And I was like, nobody get anything anywhere because I wanted to keep the place really clean and organized for the new owners that were coming in. And then after we camped out in our house for a week, we went to my in laws for about a week and a half. Then I said to some family, hey, I could come stay with you or if anybody has time off, could you go anywhere? Where do you want to go? And one sister said, let's go to Sayulita. Sayulita, Mexico. So we got a group together, there were about 11 of us, and we went down to Sayulita for the week and it was awesome. The last day we were there was my birthday and then we all got sick all at the same time. Everybody except one person. Audrey. Yeah. Was the only person who did not get sick. Oh my goodness. So you can imagine. Okay. All right. There's a lot going on here. I live life right on time. Surrender, patience. There is something unfolding here and you know, when you're going through challenging times, sometimes it is hard to see it. But we continued on and this last week we have been in Phoenix, the Scottsdale area where my sisters are right now, We've been crashing with them. And then we will be back to stay with my in laws for a bit, see some friends, visit with my mom back in Illinois. And then fingers crossed, right on time. Mid August, we will be headed to the Ivory Coast. So there's a lot going on here and in between it all, you know, we're working, hanging out with the kids, we're doing fun things, but it can be a little bit tiring. And as I was sitting to film this today, I'm like, oh, geez, the sound isn't working. I don't feel how I want to feel when I show up on camera. But you know what? Sometimes we show up and we do it anyway. And then I get here and I'm connecting with you and everything feels great. So I hope that there is a nugget in here that that helps you feel a little bit better about what you've got going on. And if you wanna commiserate, let me know in the comments. I am here for it and I'm here for you now. One of the things and the resources I want to share with you that helps me through when things are feeling rocky is something called eye motion processes. My friend and client and someone that I actually work with now as well, Amanda created these processes and they're like mini meditations, but they're different in the sense they guide you through something specific. I'll give you the link and the resources for this, but you're going to want to go to Icon about and I recommend getting the bundle of processes because in each process you identify what am I feeling, what's the space that I'm in right now and how do I process through that. And then she guides you through a meditative process to go from whatever you're feeling to where you want to be. One of the things that is really helpful for me is when I'm feeling a little bit off, I pause, I do a process. Sometimes I go through a full 20 minutes of the process. Other times I'm three minutes in, like I feel better, I know what I need to do. I'm back in flow and I do not finish the 20 minute process all the time. So you can use this in a lot of different ways. A free financial meditation. She's got the processes, I have the full bundle. So whatever I'm feeling, whatever is shaking, I can grab that process and move through it. So definitely recommend checking that out. And Amanda's work has been benefiting me a lot lately and that is one small piece of it that could have huge benefit for you. The other thing I have for you today is an update. The Plan A Thon is the annual planning event of the year for entrepreneurs, business owners and modern CEOs. We've been hosting this event every year for the last nine years. And this is year number 10. Oh my gosh. I cannot even believe that we have been growing my businesses for over 10 years at this point. And I can't believe that I've had the opportunity to connect with so many incredible people through this Plan A Thon. Many people participated for years. Some people are new. And this will be your first year. Whatever year it is for you is going to be good this year. In fact, when you sign up@theplanathon.com we have giveaways. We're giving 10 bonus anniversary gifts away from now until the Plan A Thon, which is going down the week of October 3rd. We've got all sorts of good things planned, including a referral program where you can unlock more gifts. This is all free? Yes, 100% free. We have these gifts for you because it's our 10th year. We gotta go big, we gotta do something fun. So we're brainstorming on this and I wanted it to be able to help you in your business and help you love your business and love your life. So we put together some really cool gifts. And when you register an RSVP for this event@theplanathon.com we're gonna start dropping gifts in your inbox every week until the big event. In addition, when you refer friends like I said, you're going to be able to unlock more gifts and this is just a thank you. Thank you for being a part of this event. Thank you for being a part of our community. The Planet Thon would not be very fun if I was doing it by myself every year. So I just want to celebrate and thank you. Celebrate us coming together, inspiring each other, motivating each other, building momentum together and then kicking butt all year long as we go from plan into action when we're focusing on the most important things and the things that are going to get us the most traction in our business. So this is a thank you, this is a heads up, this is announcement if you missed it that we've got gifts to shower upon you when you RSVP for the 2023 plan a thon and again you can do that@theplanathon.com finally, periodically I go to a website for a little motivation, a little refresh, a little hit of the restart button and this website is called Great Day. And I popped over to the Great Day website today for a little motivation and I wanted to share this with you as well. The Great Day motivation of today is the obstacle. Within the obstacle is an opportunity. Can you see it and act on it? Are you fearful of what the problem will do to you? Or can you bring forth the courage to understand what you can do with the problem? You can complain about the unfairness of it all and wish for a more favorable situation like I was kind of doing today as I was going through the video making. Or you can go to work with exactly what life has handed you. That's where I ended up. Don't stick yourself with the assumption that the obstacle you face will lead to something worse. Decide that it will lead to something better and then figure out how to make that happen. The obstacle exists whether you want it or not. You don't have the ability to wish it away, but you have the ability to transform it into a net positive. Accept that challenge and put the best of yourself into it. See the opportunity and make it into real lasting value. This is all from Great Day. Ralph Martin wrote this. So if you are in that place where it's feeling a little bumpy right now, there is an opportunity on the other side of this. I call this four Flipping the pancake. One side of the pancake may be burning. At least my pancakes typically burn when I start making them and I flip it on over. And on the other side is a fresh start, an opportunity. And that is certainly the side I give to my kids to hope that they will eat those pancakes that I burnt. So I invite you with me to become a professional pancake flipper and find those opportunities. And I just want to thank you for being here, for sharing in this scoop, and for joining us in the Plan A Thon. If you decide to join us in the 10th anniversary plan a Thon this year, it's going to be good. We are on this journey together as business owners and entrepreneurs and I'm so grateful to be on this journey with you.
