Andrea Jones (host) briefly explains the first pillar of an ExecuteAgility score: organizational alignment to vision. She lists three reasons leaders might avoid assessing alignment (no clear vision, fear of disagreement, and the effort required to fix misalignment) and ends with a call-to-action to take the ExecuteAgility assessment on the website.

Hi, I'm Andrea Jones. And when we talk about your organization's Execute Agility score, the first pillar is on alignment, really, Whether your organization and all the people you rely on to execute projects are aligned to your vision. And I'm thinking to myself, why would someone not want to know? Well, actually, I think there's three reasons why you might not want to know if your organization is aligned to your vision. And the first is maybe you don't actually have a vision and you're not sure where you're going, so you're pretty sure that no one can be aligned. Okay. The second is maybe you do have a vision and you know where you want your company to go, but you're afraid that people don't agree with you. And honestly, ignorance is bliss. You don't really want to find out. Okay. And the third reason is if you know whether people are aligned or not and they are not aligned, that is compelling you to exert some effort to get them aligned. And that is hard. Gosh. So those could be reasons why you don't want to know if your company is aligned. I will say if you do have a place that you're going and you are really serious about it and are willing to put in some level of effort, we can make it a little easier for you if you keep moving forward.
