70% of system implementations fail largely due to lack of buy-in. At AJC, we do a lot of system selection and implementation, primarily for ERP systems, and we bring a project management and a change management component to our service. We work with clients, we coach them, we help them to really focus not only on the project and the technical requirements and the deliverables and the timelines and the actions, also to think about the end users and whether they're willing to do this thing and ready to go when you go live with your new system. If those users aren't ready, you might as well take all the money you spent on the project and dump it down the toilet because it's not going to work and have the results that you desire.
