This is a YouTube video titled "Announcement: MicroAcquire has raised $2.8 million dollars" featuring Andrew Gazdecki, CEO and founder of MicroAcquire, announcing a $2.8 million seed funding round led by notable investors. The video, created in July 2021, presents Andrew discussing the mission and vision of MicroAcquire to build a founder-friendly startup acquisition marketplace with innovative features to simplify the acquisition process for entrepreneurs.
How's it going? My name is Andrew Gazdecki. I am the CEO and founder of Microacquire. And today we are announcing a 2.8 million dollar seed round led by an all star cast of investors including Jeremy Levine at Bessemer Venture Partners, Naval Ravencon, and Andreas Klinger. Now, I'm not one to celebrate fundraising rounds. Really this is just the beginning for us. This is day one and we're going to build something really special for the startup community. And our purpose is to help entrepreneurs succeed and help entrepreneurs get acquired without the typical headaches that you see in the market today. And our mission is to build the world's most founder friendly startup acquisition marketplace in the world. Our vision is to bring this market together with transparency, trust, innovation, simplicity and ease of use. And there's a number of different things that we're going to be innovating on, such as escrow or valuations, or the ability to hire an M and a advisor, or find proper legal counsel. Basically everything I wish I had when I sold my company, business apps where I could log into a single platform, immediately, meet buyers, find someone to help me negotiate with buyers if I'm not comfortable with that, and finally go counsel and transact all in a single platform. So that's what we're hoping to do with Microacquire. I appreciate everyone's support more than you know and we truly are building this for entrepreneurs and we are on a mission to help as many entrepreneurs get acquired and really make something special for the startup community. So thanks for everyone's support and looking forward to the future. Cheers.
