Two founders discuss why multiple failures are part of building a startup. They reference Diamond Dozen and argue that if you haven't failed a dozen times, you haven't tried hard enough to succeed.
Because if you're not failing 12 times, you're not trying 12 times. And, you know, if you're not trying 12 times, then what are you doing? Just kind of wasting time. And, you know, we did that with Diamond Dozen two or three times before we hit it. And then we. We wrote out dime a dozen for as long as we could. But it's important, certainly, I think, to throw as many things at the wall as you can and see where it takes you.
I. I would completely. I actually wrote a blog post about building companies, and my goal in college was to build 12 startups, because it takes an angel investor, 12 investments to pay off for the 11 that don't work.
